The Malaysia Autoshow 2019 will return this 11th to 14th April 2019, and like the ones before this, the autoshow will be held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS).The Malaysia Autoshow 219 is themed "Mobility for All". As always, it will showcase the latest vehicles on the market and it will be highlighting the advances in technology, safety and comfort of vehicles sold within the Malaysian market. Aside from that, it will be focusing on the latest industry trends as the world moves towards connected mobility.
The Soft Launch of the Malaysia Autoshow 2019 was held recently as it is organised by the Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) which was previously known as the Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI). The launch ceremony was officiated by the Minister of International Trade and Industry, Datuk Darell Leiking at MARii's Headquarters in Cyberjaya, in conjunction with the MITI & Agencies Monthly Assembly.
In terms of the layout for the autoshow, there will be four halls in total aside from the outdoor exhibits - Hall A, B, C & D. Hall A & B will showcase the latest vehicles on offer in Malaysia including the newest Energy Efficient Models. MARii estimates that over 100 cars and variants from the various OEMs are expected to be on display.
Hall C will feature the International Automodified (IAM), a touring automotive lifestyle showcases for all-time automobile models, modified and also customised cars. The IAM brings a new angle to the Autoshow, bringing together a community of car enthusiasts that have the passion personalising their vehicles both in drivelines and/or body and panel.
This year, Hall D will be called the "MARii Mobility Hall" for the autoshow. The exhibits will bring visitors through an immersive journey throughout the entire automotive value chain, from automotive styling, design, engineering and manufacturing, and provide a vision of Malaysia's mobility ecosystem in the future. The Hall will also host numerous experiential activities for the entire family, including robotics workshops, AR and VR experiences and skills competitions.
"The Malaysia Autoshow remains as an important component of the annual automotive calendar, as it allows for maximum participation of Malaysians in the automotive sector through experiential exhibitions and activities at the show", said Dato' Madani Sahari, MARii Chief Executive Officer.
Visitors to the Malaysia Autoshow can also expect lots of activities for the whole family. There will be new models launched (especially since carmakers love taking advantage of motorshows. Like always, visitors will stand a chance to win a Perodua Bezza, Perodua Myvi, Kia Picanto and many others prizes.
There will be 4x4 Taxi Ride, Go Kart Experience, Test Drives of various models (which will be done on the 3km length Malaysia Autoshow test route), various activities at the MARiiMobility Hall as well as other activities which will be announced closer to the Autoshow in April.
So take note peeps! Another motorshow is just around the corner.
