Malaysia Autoshow 2020 Postpone to 2021


The Malaysia Autoshow 2020, which was scheduled to occur in July 2020 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) will now been postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the measures that were implemented to contain it.  The annual autoshow is organised by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), and it will skip a whole year and only be scheduled for April 2021 but with the proviso that it is subject to the developments of the COVID-19 throughout this year and even 2021 from what we hear.

Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) on the Movement Control Order due to COVID-19 Coronavirus - All Events Postponed



This is the second day into the Movement Control Order placed on the country by the Government of Malaysia. So lets have another announcement on the matter, this time from an agency of the government dealing with the automotive industry, MARii, the  Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute which is the agency that spearheads the country's automotive policy and future plans.

Arus Jaya, MARii and Perodua Will Establish a Digital Showroom and Co-Develop Smart Sales & Service Solutions

The Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), Arus Jaya Automotive Sdn. Bhd. and Perodua will develop Smart Sales and Service solutions together with a focus towards the state of Sabah. This was announced at a ground breaking ceremony recently held at the Kota Kinabalu Marriott Hotel for the establishment of the first ever Digital Showroom. The Digital Showroom will be the first of its kind here and developed in order to transition towards enhancing digitalisation of the aftermarket sector.

The Malaysia Autoshow 2019 is Now Ongoing Till 14th April - Showcasing 100 Car Models and the Latest in the Malaysian Automotive Industry


The Malaysia Autoshow 2019, organized by Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) was officially launched yesterday. Held at MAEPS, Serdang, it will be ongoing from now to the 14th April. The Autoshow was officially launched by the Prime Minister, Tun. Dr. Mahathir Mohamad where he visited and officiated the unveiling of the Limited Edition Perodua Bezza Autoshow edition and PROTON's preview of the facelifted Persona and Iriz.

Upcoming Events: Malaysia Autoshow 2019 will return this 11th to 14th April 2019


The Malaysia Autoshow 2019 will return this 11th to 14th April 2019, and like the ones before this, the autoshow will be held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS).The Malaysia Autoshow 219 is themed "Mobility for All".  As always, it will showcase the latest vehicles on the market and it will be highlighting the advances in technology, safety and comfort of vehicles sold within the Malaysian market. Aside from that, it will be focusing on the latest industry trends as the world moves towards connected mobility.

Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) is Now Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) - Expanding Their Scope Towards Enhancing The Malaysian Automotive Industry


The Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI), has been rebranded as the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii). The announcement was made by the Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Datuk Darell Leiking at the Car of the Year 2018 (COTY2018) awards on the 4th of December 2018 and sometime last week, MARii Chief Executive Officer Dato' Madani Sahari spoke to members of the automotive fraternity which comprised of industry players, academics, government bodies and members of the media on the scope expansion of MARii. This included the opportunities created for all stakeholders in expediting the adoption of robotics within the automotive sector in a briefing, titled “An Introduction to the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute”, in MARii’s headquarters in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
