Continental Tyres launches the ComfortContact CC7 for the Malaysian market

A few days ago,  Continental Tyres launched its newest product in its line of Generation 7 tyres, the ComfortContact CC7. This new series is a comfort-focused tyre that seeks to make every journey truly enjoyable for both drivers and passengers. This new tyre follows the launch of the UltraContact UC7 in August 2022 and was designed with comfort, like its namesake, in mind.

The CC7 replaces the ComfortContact CC6. Goodyear Malaysia Launches the New Range of Eagle F1 tyres - The Supersport RS, Supersport R, Supersport, Asymetric 5 and the Asymetric 3 SUV

Goodyear Malaysia earlier today unveiled the latest additions to the Eagle F1 range of tyres- the SuperSport RS, SuperSport R, SuperSport, Asymmetric 5 and the Asymmetric 3 SUV. The launch of these Eagle F1 tyres has basically happened after Goodyear’s recent sponsorship of three participating teams in the World Endurance Championship (widely known as the Le Mans). Goodyear Malaysia Promotes Sustainability by Installing 6,680 Solar Panels At Its Corporate Office and Production Plant

Goodyear Malaysia recently installed 6,680 solar panels to power its corporate office as well as production plant in Shah Alam. This is a truly noble effort in sustainability which is still sorely lacking in corporate Malaysia. The solar panels are capable of producing 2.5-megawatts of power and is connected to six Low Voltage (LV) substations that are located within the plant

Goodyear Tyres Launches the Assurance TripleMax 2 Tyre in Malaysia - A New Mid-Passenger Car Tyre Which Officially Replaces the Long Running NCT5

So recently a few of us motoring media fellas met up with the folks from Goodyear Malaysia. Aside from meeting the people now in charge of marketing and having the usual small talk, chit chat and stuff, they also informed us on the arrival of the Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2 tyre. This is a tyre designed for the mid-range passenger car segment and it actually replaces the long running Goodyear NCT5 tyre here in Malaysia. When I say long running, the NCT5 is super long running as I remember actually using this tyre sometime in the early 2000s or even earlier!

Continental Tyre has launched the replacement of the very popular MaxContact MC5 tyre with the very logically named MaxContact MC6. According to Continental, the tyre is not just a successor of the MC5 but it is supposedly an even sportier tyre than before. The new MaxContact MC6 promises to deliver significant improvement in wet and dry handling, wet braking, and mileage performance. The MC6 rounds up the '6' series of tyres on sale here in Malaysia - the CC6, UC6, Sport Contact 6 and now the MC6.

The new line-up, consisting of the new on-road BF Goodrich Advantage T/A® Drive and T/A® SUV tyres and the new off-road BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A® KO2 tyres . BFGoodrich Advantage T/A® Drive and T/A® SUV tyres are available in Malaysia in popular sizes from 13 to 18 inches starting from March 2016. While the BFGoodrich All -Terrain T/A® KO2 tyre are already available since January 2016 in sizes 15 to 18 inches.
