UMW Toyota Motor reveals their 'Beyond Zero Transformative Initiatives' - Move to Zero Event on until the 28th of February 2024 at Technology Park Malaysia

This, is more of an industry bit of news especially in the sustainability area. UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT), who are the current leaders (in terms of overall sales) non-national automaker, presented its Beyond Zero initiative, which aligns with Toyota's global pursuit of Carbon Neutrality by 2050. The groundbreaking event, taking place from today until 28 February 2024 at the Technology Park Malaysia, presented transformative initiatives that showcased the brand's commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

Happenings: Scania Malaysia's Master Sustainability Fund Contributes to the First Sustainability Gallery in Sarawak



Scania Malaysia via its Master Sustainability fund has contributed to the first Sustainability Gallery at Sekolah Kebangsaan (National School) Nanga Ajau in Betong, Sarawak. This shows Scania Malaysia’s commitment towards inculcating all walks of life, especially the students of the school, the importance of sustainability for the betterment of our future.

Goodyear Malaysia Promotes Sustainability by Installing 6,680 Solar Panels At Its Corporate Office and Production Plant



Goodyear Malaysia recently installed 6,680 solar panels to power its corporate office as well as production plant in Shah Alam. This is a truly noble effort in sustainability which is still sorely lacking in corporate Malaysia. The solar panels are capable of producing 2.5-megawatts of power and is connected to six Low Voltage (LV) substations that are located within the plant
