Hino Motor Malaysia and Soon Seng Truck & Parts officially opens their Hino Approved Service Outlet in Subang Jaya

On the 24^th October 2025, Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (HMSM) and their dealer, Soon Seng Truck and Parts Sdn Bhd (SSTP), officially opened the new HASO, or Hino Approved Service Outlet, in Subang Jaya, Selangor. Strategically located in USJ, which is a hub for many logistics providers, the  new HASO is a 3S centre (sales service & spares) will be able to provide comprehensive sales, maintenance and repair services for Hino commercial vehicles, ensuring better customer experience in the surrounding area.

Yesterday, Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (HMSM) officially launched its new Hino 300 Series Euro 5 Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) over at the Hino Total Support Customer Centre (HTSCC) in Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan. We were invited to the event that saw the preview of two upgraded Hino 300 models. These were the 300 series 4-Wheeler and 6-Wheeler upgraded variants now fitted eith more efficient Euro 5 engines. These new models are in line with with the theme “Strong, Smart & Smooth for Your Business.” 

The launch was officiated by the Managing Director of Hino Motors Sales, Mr. Hiroshi Takahashi; Corporate Director, Mr. Motonori Nakamura, Director, Mr. Ahmad Yasmin Yahya, and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Chan Ing Chyi. Also present from Hino Motors Manufacturing were Managing Director Mr. Hiroshi Yamaguchi and Finance Director Mr. Kohei Sakura. Alsp present were Hino dealers and members of the media.

Last Saturday, the 10th edition of the HINO Total Support (TS) Contest was held at Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Hino Malaysia) in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The event was a celebration of a decade of excellence and innovation where the company brings forth friendly competition that tests the competence of Hino Malaysia's dealers in both sales and aftersales. With 146 participants representing 28 authorized dealers, this year’s contest was definitely bigger than last year's one as it offers a unique platform for dealers to showcase their skills, creativity, and commitment to customer satisfaction, But it also allows for the staff that participated to have some bragging rights among peers. 17 HINO Trucks handed over to Transcargo Worldwide Sdn Bhd

Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (HMSM) recently handed over 17 trucks to Transcargo Worldwide (M) Sdn Bhd at the Hino Malaysia dealer, Truck Solutions Sdn Bhd in Port Klang. 10 units of the Hino 300 Series PRO and 7 units of the HIno 500 Series trucks was part of the package and it was an arrangement made as part of Transcargo Worldwide’s fleet expansion plan.

Transcargo Worldwide is an integrated logistics company that was incorporated in Malaysia in 2007. The company focuses on air freight, sea freight, customs brokerage, warehousing and distribution, inland and cross-border transportation, Ecommerce Logistics, and value-added services. The ceremony was attended by administrators of The Community Chest, the Parent-Teacher's Association president of SJK (T) Kangar and senior members of HMSM.

Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia), or just Hino, together with their customer, courier company GD Express Sdn Bhd (GDEX) held a small ceremony earlier today where they announced interesting news for those that are following the commercial vehicle sector. First is the sale of 300 units of their HINO 300 series trucks to GDEX, then announcing their No.1 status in the 2017 vehicle sales category for Light Commercial Vehicle, Medium to Heavy Commercial Vehicle and the bus category. Finally, they presented Certificates to GDEX recognising the reliability of four units of GDEX Hino trucks that have 1 million km mileage without the need for any engine overhaul.

Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd today officially opened its RM8 million upgraded Hino Total Support Customer Centre (HTSCC). This centre is set to be the catalyst for the company’s business growth in the region. The HTSCC, the first in the world outside of Japan is built with international standard specifications from Japan to assist its customers who need to comply with the Malaysian government Safety, Health and Environment Code of Practice (SHE COP).

HINO has launched their second new truck range in Malaysia for this year. This latest generation of HINO 500 trucks is quite an improvement over the previous 500 series which has been around since the early 2000s. The 500 series is also the best seller in the Medium Commercial Vehicle (MCV) segment here in Malaysia and HINO is confident that the new truck would be well received. There are new commonrail direct injection engines, new safety features as well as added refinement in all variants offered.
