On the 24th October 2025, Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (HMSM) and their dealer, Soon Seng Truck and Parts Sdn Bhd (SSTP), officially opened the new HASO, or Hino Approved Service Outlet, in Subang Jaya, Selangor. Strategically located in USJ, which is a hub for many logistics providers, the new HASO is a 3S centre (sales service & spares) will be able to provide comprehensive sales, maintenance and repair services for Hino commercial vehicles, ensuring better customer experience in the surrounding area.
The new HASO outlet is approximately 20,000 square feet in size and has 17 service bays equipped to handle a wide range of maintenance and services. The centre features a cosy waiting lounge equipped with Wi-Fi, refreshments, and a prayer room. The outlet is supported by 15 workshop staff, including foremen, mechanics, clerks, and apprentices, and 4 dedicated parts staff who maintain stock of genuine Hino parts to minimize downtime and enhance vehicle reliability.
The opening was officiated by members from Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (HMSM) notably Managing Director Hiroshi Takahashi, Director Ahmad Yasmin Yahya, and Chief Operating Officer Chan Ing Chyi, alongside. Soon Seng Truck and Parts Sdn Bhd. leadership team, including After Sales Director Director Samson Chan, Business Development Director Edmund Chan and General Manager Ling Kui Loong were also present.
Hino and Soon Seng Truck and Parts Sdn Bhd (SSTP) have been in partnership for over 40 years, dating back to 1974. This was when the company first began as an authorised Hino spare parts distributor in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. In 2008, the SSTP outlet, now located in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan was upgraded to a 3S centre. SSTP later established another branch in Balakong and this new Subang Jaya outlet is now their latest branch handling exclusively HIno vehicles.
The outlet delivers Hino-standard diagnostics, structured technician training, and transparent communication, ensuring consistent service quality and fast turnaround.
