Toyota and Lexus Malaysia Operations to Remain Closed Until the Official End of the Movement Control Order & Warranty Matters

UMW Toyota Motor has official stated that in light of the recent announcement on the extension of the Movement Control Order (MCO) by the Government of Malaysia, they, the authorised distributors of Toyota and Lexus in Malaysia announced that all Authorised Toyota and Lexus Dealers will remain closed until the order is lifted.

However they also state that they will continue to be reachable to all customers for any emergency or inquiry throughout the MCO on their existing helplines as well as five additional helplines created specially for this period of time. This is a good move as it would surely lessen waiting time if the lines are congested. You and I know it happens, especially when you need assistance.

Good News! Existing warranties and those expiring during the MCO period will enjoy a 30 day extension. Details are as follows:

All vehicles purchased from UMW Toyota Motor or their Authorised Dealers with existing warranties that are valid and expiring during this period will enjoy a 30-day extension calculated from the last day of the MCO.

All service appointments scheduled during this MCO period will be rescheduled after the MCO is lifted and when operations resume.

Customers may contact the following numbers throughout the duration of the MCO.
