This is another Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2018 (KLIMS 2018) pre-show update folks. The Naza Automotive Group will be showcasing a range of passenger and commercial vehicles, motorcycles, accessories and alot more at KLIMS 2018 which will be held at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from 23 rd November until 2 nd December 2018. Some of the highlights include Peugeot, DS and Citroën and Kia.
Up first is Peugeot. Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Peugeot vehicles here will be displaying their current range SUVs and sporty hatchbacks.The ‘European Car of the Year 2017’ Peugeot 3008 SUV, the newly launched 5008 SUV, the newly upgraded 308 THP and the sporty 308 GTi will be on display there.
Visitors to the Peugeot booth will get to try out a racing simulator and Virtual Reality experience based on Peugeot cars,. Nasim will also be promoting their Autovaganza year-end promotions with rebates up to RM12,000 and free gifts with purchase the the motor show.
Secondly, the Naza Automotive Group will be showcasing the premium automobile marque of Groupe PSA, DS. Yes, just DS (which was a Citroen moniker made into a premium arm for the PSA Group). Making its very first appearance on Malaysian soil is the All-New DS 7 Crossback, the New Luxury SUV by DS Automobiles. This preview comes ahead of its local debut in 2019 so visitors can have a look at it and its premium features as well as DS styling. Some notable premium features are the DS Active LED Vision, FOCAL HIFI Speakers, a clock by luxury watch makers BRM and more.
The DS 5 will also be on display, this is the brand’s global best-seller vehicle of avant-garde styling, allying dynamic behaviour, refinement and attention to detail with a selection of advanced technologies.
Next comes Citroen. Naza Euro Motors, which is also the official distributor for Citroën brand in Malaysia, will preview the New Citroën C3 Aircross (above) to the Malaysian public for the very first time at KLIMS 2018. This is a new-generation SUV, and is powered by a Puretech Turbo engine which delivers 112 PS and 205 Nm of torque as well as being fuel-efficient at 900km on a single tank. In addition, the spacious boot space is exceptional for its segment at 410 litres in capacity.
Visitors to the booth stand a chance to be prominently featured on their special ‘media wall’ when they pose and snap a photo with the New C3 Aircross.
Also making a presence at the Citroën booth is the newly-launched New Grand C4 Spacetourer 7-seater MPV. The MPV’s enhanced design, unique experience of comfort and latest-generation technologies presents a modern, user-friendly and family-oriented drive that allows drivers and passengers to travel in style and comfort.
Finally we come to Kia. Naza Kia Malaysia, will be showcasing its full product line-up ranging from A-segment to D-segment vehicles at KLIMS 2018. the Kia Stinger, the New Optima GT, New Sorento, New Grand Carnival – and upcoming GT-Line models the New Sportage GT-Line and New Picanto GT-Line will all be on display.
KIA has also announced that they will give a sneak preview of a future Kia model at the motor show. So this could be quite an interesting motor show in terms of what the Naza Group is offering.
