PROTON wins two awards at the MAI Malaysia Car of the Year 2016

PROTON had received 2 awards at the Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) Malaysia Car of the Year 2016 held at The Saujana Hotel, Subang recently for its new and refined Saga and the all-new Persona. The Proton Saga won the Value for Money Car award whilst the Proton Persona won the Most Improved Model in Fuel Efficiency.

In both cases I must agree. The all-new Proton Saga gives you the best bang for your Ringgit. It is the most affordable compact sedan in Malaysia yet it offers a level of refinement that was missed at the entry level price range here in Malaysia. It may have been launched late in the year but it is well deserved.

As for the Persona. Impressive car in most aspects given what Proton wants us to pay for it. But I also have to agree that in terms of fuel efficiency, the previous one was very average at best (with some 2.0liter sedans more efficient than it when it was still being sold). This new one is indeed fuel efficient.

So congratulations to Proton. They deserve their wins for coming up with cars like these.
