All new 2026 Proton Saga launched. Super specs at super affordable prices

The new 2026 Proton Saga sedan has been launched and it's loaded with equipment at very affordable prices too. It is still a great starter car and prices start from RM37,990 inclusive of launch rebate worth RM1,000. 

Proton has also stated that deliveries to early booking customers to begin immediately after its launch. 

iCAUR V23 SUV launched with prices from RM119,800 onwards

The iCAUR V23 has been launched. Prices seem reasonable and starts from RM119,800 for the 2WD and RM132,800 for the feature packed all wheel drive (iWD) variant.

Suzuki Fronx SUV launched in Malaysia

Naza Eastern Motors Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Suzuki cars here in Malaysia, has launched the all-new Suzuki Fronx Hybrid. This B segment crossover SUV was first launched in 2023 and is based on the Suzuki Baleno platform and was developed from the idea to create an SUV that is widely accepted by most markets.Here in Malaysia, only one variant is offered, the mild hybrid 1.5liter petrol engine with a price from RM147,888 before insurance.

These hybrid SUV models were launched in October of this year and are the latest variants of the popular Tiggo mid sized SUVs here. These are plug in hybrids so you can drive it for about 80km or so on full electric mode and it also has an estimated combined range of around 1,200km.  So recently, JETOUR Malaysia has recently unveiled the estimated price for the upcoming Jetour T2 all terrain premium SUV which will be estimated at RM178,888 onwards.The Jetour T2 first made its Malaysian debut earlier this year and recently showcased its right-hand drive (RHD) version. According to Jetour Malaysia, it makes Malaysia among the first markets globally to experience the model.  The All New Proton SAGA has been unveiled recently and we got to view and try it out. So this means a new video is out on our YouTube channel. This means a test around Proton's Tanjung Malim test track and a preview of its features. We see that it has a new interior, especially a new dashboard with a one piece wrap around Infotainment system and instrument cluster. Volkswagen Malaysia Launches the New Golf R-Line and New Golf GTI Mk8.5

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia has launched the Newest, most current range of cars from the Golf model here. These models, from what most enthusiasts know as the refreshed Mk8.5 Golfs, are the New Golf R-Line, introduced witha new 1.5 eTSI MHEV engine replacing the previous 1.4 TSI variant, and a new Golf GTI offers more power with additional 20PS. 

Proton eMAS 5 launched - This could be the game changing vehicle that brings EV to the Malaysian masses

Last week,  PROTON launched the Proton e.MAS 5, which is the cheapest brand new EV on sale in Malaysia to date. This could be the catalyst for the EV market here in Malaysia as it brings affordability coming in from RM59,800 for the Prime and RM72,800 before any insurance for the loaded Premium variant. With it, brings affordability to the EV market and with anything, especially when after all the first adopters have bought their EVs, comes this second wave to try capture the sceptics and those first adopters with shallower pockets. As on a personal note, I believe the first adopters buying new energy vehicles over RM100,000 is now on a decline.

iCaur v23 officially previewed in Right Hand Drive (RHD) form - estimated to cost from RM145,000 when launched

Last 29th of  October 2025,  iCAUR Malaysia today previewed the iCAUR V23,this is the latest all-electric off-road SUVfrom this new brand. Building on the momentum of the recently launched iCAUR 03, the C-Segment iCAUR V23 strengthens the blends modern performance, safety, and versatility with

a distinctive design pays homage to iconic off-road machines from a bygone era. It does combine the styling from some Land Cruisers and Defenders out there, with a fully electric drivetrain. A chunky looking SUV that we remember compared to the new bulbous styled ones these days.

New video alert! This is our impressions and opinions after Proton allowed us a go with the upcoming (as at upload) 2025 2026 Proton e.MAS 5 battery electric vehicle (BEV). Do note that the test drive was under strict embargo rules so they unfortunately had a non stickered eMAS 5 out beside the stickered one and only allowed us to show the stickered one. It made footage hard. So you will only see me babbling on about the car. But if you want to know my opinion, this is it.

This is based on the Geely Star Wish and it set to be priced between 60k - 80k Malaysian Ringgit.
