I attended the BMW Premium Selection (BPS) autofair/roadshow earlier today. The three-day fair showcases up to 500 pre-owned vehicles from the BMW Premium Selection portfolio as well as New Vehicles, including Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) models, with attractive rebates, instant financing pre=approvals and more. The Showcase by BMW Group Malaysia returns to the Bukit Jalil National Stadium this March 1st to 3rd. This weekend. Head over there if you have the time and want to view a wide selection of BMW vehicles including models from the BMW 2 Series, BMW 3 Series, BMW 5 Series, BMW 7 Series and the BMW X range. There will also be a selection of pre-owned MINI and BMW Motorrad vehicles will also be available at the fair.
BMW Malaysia also took the opportunity to showcase the recently launched refreshed 2024 BMW iX xDrive50 Sport and BMW iX M60. The BMW iX xDrive50 Sport and the BMW iX M60 are now equipped with the AC Charging Professional as standard, introducing an updated feature to the vehicles’ charging capabilities. The new feature will substantially decrease charging times, whether at home or public AC chargers, with the newly equipped 22 kW charging capabilities. This results to a more efficient and convenient charging experience, significantly reducing the charging time of both vehicles to under 5 hours 30 minutes for a complete 0 to 100% charge.
Besides, the duo will continue to arrive equipped with high-power charging of up to 195 kW, accelerating its charging from 0% to 80% charge in just 35 minutes. An 11kW AC Wallbox Charger, on the other hand, can charge the vehicles from 0 to 100% in 11 hours. It's all about the faster charging capability in these models

Aside from the new iX, BMW Motorrad are also showcasing the newly launched BMW R18 Roctane retro looking cruiser motorcycle. This is a monster. It features a large 1800cc boxer engine with retro styling to suit. This is a stupendous looking bike and is estimated to retail at around RM160,000.
The two model ranges mentioned above are part of the latest BMW vehicles launched recently and they, together with displays of current vehicles and test drive vehicles grace the fair aside from the vast selection of preowned vehicles. It is massive actually, as BMW Group Malaysia has invited many of their dealers throughout Malaysia and they have brought out their preowned stocks for us to view.
The cars are from delivery miles to those that are in good condition but many years old. I even saw a BMW 520i from 2012 going for around RM55,000. There is a warranty package too. But I don't know how long the warranty period is though.
