Videos - MAN TGS Van in caravan spec. Foton Aumark S light truck - Both at MCVE 2024

Here are some of the videos over on our YouTube channel that somehow I forgot to link up here. First, we have the MAN TGE van that has been converted into a caravan. This was at the recent Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2024. 


This second one is on the China made Foton Aumark S light truck. Also at the recent MCVE 2024 Been doing so many other things aside from writing and publishing on this blog. MAN Truck & Bus at MCVE 2024 - Showcasing their full range of commercial vehicles from Truck, Bus to Van in Malaysia for the first time ever


MAN Truck & Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MAN Malaysia) had come out full swing at this year's edition of the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) 2024. The European brand came with their full range of its products and services for the first time in Malaysia and shows their commitment in promoting the brand here. This is another milestone after the previous MCVE in 2022 where the brand had just gone on the push to make the brand move visible here than it has ever been before.

MAN Malaysia organises its largest ever handover to date to logistics solutions providers from all over Malaysia

 

MAN Truck & Bus (M) Sdn Bhd handed over its Euro V-powered New MAN Trucks to 14 customers from across the country and different segments of the economy in what was the company’s largest ever truck handover ceremony to date. Speaking of dates, the event happened yesterday, the 23th of May 2023. Ten of the fourteen companies were first-time MAN customers. This shows growing confidence in the low-emission truck solution provided by MAN and the brand's upward trajectory in Malaysia ever since they revamped their vehicle line-up and solutions.

MAN Malaysia introduces a taller, more spacious, driver focused all-new TM Cab for the Malaysian market - You can now stand upright in this MAN TGS truck

MAN Truck & Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MAN Malaysia), who was the first vehicle manufacturer in Malaysia to offer Euro V engines as standard across its entire Truck range, has launched the taller and more spacious TM Cab for their TGS new truck generation range as an option. Previously,  the standard height TN Cab has always been preferred by the Malaysian market due to its flexibility but MAN Malaysia feels that it is timely to introduce a truck cabin that allows people to stand upright in the cabin, thereby allowing more space for the truck driver for his comfort and convenience.

MAN Truck & Bus to Start Offering Euro V Bus for Malaysian By 2023 ... and Maybe Their EV E-Chassis Bus Too

MAN Truck & Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MAN Malaysia),  to be the first vehicle manufacturer in  Malaysia to offer Euro V engines as standard across its entire Truck range, will now aim to become the first company to offer Euro V for its bus range too.  This piece of environmentally friendly news was first announced at MAN BAGUS, an annual gathering for key players from the bus  industry at its Serendah CKD assembly plant. There, MAN Malaysia Managing Director  Andrew O’Brooks announced that the company plans to introduce a low-emission  Euro V engine as an option in 2023 to help bus operators reduce their carbon  footprint.

MAN Truck & Bus Launches the Euro 5 Compliant MAN TGX - The Flagship Model Comes to Malaysia

MAN Truck & Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MAN Malaysia) had launched the flagship MAN TGX heavy duty prime mover at the Malaysia  Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) 2022. The truck, at the moment brought into the country in fully imported form will eventually be locally assembled, comes in the Euro V (5) emissions standards. It will offer those operators and customers that want a high performance MAN truck with the option of saving the whales at the same time.

MAN Malaysia launches the New MAN Truck Generation Range of Euro 5 TGS Series of Heavy Duty Trucks


 MAN Truck & Bus (M) Sdn Bhd yesterday launched the New MAN Truck Generation. This new range of trucks is a completely new range of heavy-duty trucks for the Malaysian market and they have been focused towards the changing requirements of the transport industry and features improvements in areas such as driver orientation, assistance systems (more active safety features including blind spot detection systems, autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control), digital connectivity and reducing the environmental impact. One major update is the cleaner fully Euro 5 engines that these new MAN TGS series uses, making them the first to offer such levels of emission standards here in the country.

MAN Truck and Bus Officially Opens its Port Klang Service Centre

It has been awhile but they've finally done it. MAN Truck and Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MAN) has officially opened their new service centre in Port Klang and the brand is now able to offer fleet operators and customers more efficient and timelier vehicle care in the busiest port in  Malaysia. The new centre started operating in August and is located at Lingkaran Sultan Mohamed 2, Port Klang. With this centre, it seems that MAN now has an even greater brand presence in the area.

MAN Truck and Bus Malaysia Has a New Managing Director - Announces Upcoming Service Centre in Port Klang, New Strategic Initiatives & Hands Over Trucks to Nitsu Transport Service


MAN Truck and Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MAN), the Malaysian arm of the European commercial vehicle brand, earlier today announced it has appointed Andrew O’Brooks as its new managing director. Aside from that, the company also announced its new service centre in Port Klang which is scheduled for opening sometime in March 2020 as well as an announcement of their latest strategic initiatives which is in line with the brand's global direction and current motto of ' Simplifying Business'.

MCVE 2019: MAN Malaysia Unveils a MAN XLION Special Model - Aimed at Simplifying Business with Special Equipment & Comprehensive Aftersales Packages


MAN Truck and Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MAN) had presented their MAN XLION special model at the recently concluded Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) 2019. This new MAN truck model with its tailor made equipment and aftersales package is in line with their motto of ‘Simplifying Business’. The MAN TGS 33.480 in the XLION package was displayed. It is a 6x4 prime mover, with its XLION lion design on the sides of the truck.

TRUCK NEWS: A bit on the recent large order of MAN TGS Trucks to the LTS Group

I have to say that this must have been a coup for MAN Truck & Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MTBM). One of the larger  transportation service provider in Malaysia, Lee Ting San Group of Companies (LTS Group), had recently purchased seventy MAN TGS 19.360, 4×2 prime mover intended for long-haul transport. MAN TGS will make up one third of the logistic specialist’s existing fleet of prime movers.

MIBTC 2015: Malaysia International Bus Truck and Components Expo 2015 begins today

I attended the Malaysia International Bus Truck and Component Expo over at the MINES convention center earlier today. The three day event began today and showcases various commercial vehicle players such as Iveco, Scania, Volvo Trucks, TATA, MAN and other brands too. There is a strong presence by the Europeans and a unsurprsingly the Chinese brands which are making inroads especially on the more affordable end of the field.

Trucking News: Volkswagen creates integrated commercial vehicles group - MAN, Scania & VW Commercial vehicles



For those not in the know, Volkswagen Group also owns MAN and Scania commercial vehicle brands aside from the usual car brands. So now, they are creating an integrated commercial vehicle group lumping these two familiar names together with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles too.
