Scania officially launches the New Truck Generation with the Super drivetrains & engines, the New Bus Generation and their newest Driver Application


While already sold in Malaysia since mid 2023, Scania has officially launched the new Super truck (Super) based on the New Truck Generation platform and New Bus Generation (NBG). These new truck and bus feature powertrain and drive trains that deliver up to 8-9% more fuel economy on average together with a new and wide range of digital solutions like Driver App for drivers. These vehicles are also FAME-prepared up to B100 biofuel as standard to help reduce CO2 emissions of up to 80% while supporting the national economy and customers’ ESG goals. Scania Malaysia held a customer launch and test drive’ event at Bandar Malaysia last week which seem to popular with customers. We happened to attend the event and Scania Malaysia had signed various purchase agreements with customers, new and old, for vehicles too.

MAN Malaysia organises its largest ever handover to date to logistics solutions providers from all over Malaysia

 

MAN Truck & Bus (M) Sdn Bhd handed over its Euro V-powered New MAN Trucks to 14 customers from across the country and different segments of the economy in what was the company’s largest ever truck handover ceremony to date. Speaking of dates, the event happened yesterday, the 23th of May 2023. Ten of the fourteen companies were first-time MAN customers. This shows growing confidence in the low-emission truck solution provided by MAN and the brand's upward trajectory in Malaysia ever since they revamped their vehicle line-up and solutions.

Mansang Logistics Takes Delivery of the First Scania New Truck Generation XT Rigid Truck and Enters into the Scania Ecolution Agreement

Mansang Logistics is the first truck operator in Sarawak to sign the Scania Ecolution Agreement. The signing of the agreement also coincided with the delivery of Mansang Logistics' First Scania New Truck Generation XT Rigid type heavy duty truck. The Scania Ecolution agreement was entered between Scania Malaysia represented by Phang Yee Fong, the Regional Manager for the East Coast and East Malaysia, Scania Southeast Asia and Lim Kee San,Head of Customer Management who represeted Mansang Logistics Sdn Bhd.

Curio Pack Sdn Bhd Receives its Newest Scania Truck - The Scania New Truck Generation P410B8X4NZ Rigid Type


Scania Malaysia recently delivered a Scania New Truck Generation P410B8x4NZ rigid type to Curio Pack Sdn Bhd (Curio Pack). The keys to the Scania truck was handed over by Services Director, Scania Southeast Asia, Thor Brenden to the Director of Curio Pack, Ngiam Chong Lee in a small ceremony at Scania Malaysia’s Bukit Jelutong headquarters. Curio Pack is an Integrated Logistics Solution Company that has been in the logistics business since 1985.

Scania NTG Test and Drive 2019 - Allowing Customers and Guests to Experience Scania's Latest Prime Mover



Last week Scania Southeast Asia held the Scania NTG Test and Drive 2019 where they invited customers, guests as well as members of the media to try out the newly launched (in Malaysia) Scania New Truck Generation series of prime movers. The event was held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) where both the NTG trucks and the overall event received praise from the invitees.

Scania Launches their Award Winning New Truck Generation in Malaysia -


The Scania New Truck Generation range of prime movers has finally been launched in Malaysia. This is the much awaited replacement of the Scania P, G and R or PGR Generation of trucks which are a familiar sight on Malaysian roads. The New Truck Generation of Scania trucks have been designed and engineered to give fleet owners greater total operating economy and profitability, as well as lower CO2 emissions. These are still the P,G and R series but we now have the new L and S series of trucks to complement the range.
