Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Hino Malaysia) authorised dealer, Sumai Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (Sumai Engineering) has upgraded their Hino centre recently. The new centre is located in Kawasan Perindustrian Chendering, Kuala Terengganu and it will offer customers sales, service, and spare parts (3S) ensuring more customer touch points for Hino over on the East Coast of Peninsula Malaysia.
The new Hino 3S Centre at Kawasan Perindustrian Chendering is a strategically located industrial hub in Kuala Terengganu where there are many large warehouses and factories currently in operation Being right smack to where the action is allows for quick and easy access to Hino customers and the upgraded centre boasts a 1 404 square-foot site which is able to display the latest Hino vehicles and has 10 services bays as well as a customer lounge with refreshments and free Wi-Fi for waiting customers. This is a one-stop shop for Hino trucks.
The centre had first begun operations early September of 2019. The official opening of the centre was held sometime last week and it was officiated by the Board of Directors from both Hino Malaysia and Sumai Engineering, together with the Guest of Honour, the Member of Parliament Kuala Terengganu; YB Tuan Haji Ahmad Amzad Hashim.
The new 3S (Sales, Services and Spare Parts) centre had upgraded from 2S (Service and Spare Parts) and features the latest in Hino's corporate identity. The new centre has not only been designed to increase efficiency for all departments but also reflects Hino’s innovative company goals that focus on delivering quality customer service. To date, Hino Malaysia has 37 3S centres throughout the country.

At the launch, the Chairman of Sumai Engineering, Tuan Hj Wan Mahyuddin Wan Sulaiman said, “Hino has appointed Sumai Engineering as 2S (Services and Spare Parts) centre, and with the support of our valued customers and Hino family members, Sumai Engineering now starts as the first Hino 3S centre in Terengganu,”
With the establishment of the new 3S centre, the Hino team now has a better base over in the Terengganu region to execute exchanges of experiences, methodologies, and work practices as well as guide them in anticipating seeing the future progress. In addition, the new centre is a catalyst in accelerating business growth by providing both Hino customers better uptime and an even faster turnaround in terms of vehicle services.
