Here is our preview video on the new Mazda CX-5 2.5L SKYACTIV-G Turbo petrol variant. This will be launched by Bermaz, the official distributor of Mazda here in Malaysia and it is set to be priced somewhere within the RM180-200K price range.
228hp and 420nm is promised from the engine. It will come with all-wheel drive and a slew of active safety features. According to what we heard after we produced the video, it will have rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitors, lane keeping assist but no idea whether Bermaz will bring in the one equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control. We have to see what happens when the SUV is launched.
