Mercedes-Benz Malaysia had earlier today announced effective September 1, 2018, prices of all Mercedes-Benz premium automobiles are adjusted according to the government’s enactment of SST. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also states that the company is committed to continue providing its premium range of products and services at the best value, putting their customers at the centre of their activities.
Aside from the new SST prices for their range of passenger cars, Mercedes-Benz also announced some new equipment upgrades to their best-selling SUV namely, the GLC 200 and GLC 250 4MATIC. They have also announced new Night Edition variants for the A-Class GLA 200 crossover and the CLA 200 4 door coupe.
The GLC 200 and GLC 250 models are now equipped with Blind Spot Assist. The Blind Spot Assist system is a radar sensor technology to monitor the areas directly alongside and behind the vehicle.
The GLC 250 4MATIC will also be equipped with the Lane Keeping Assist, a safety feature which allows the steering wheel to vibrate to warn the driver if the vehicle leaves its lane unintentionally with the help of the camera on the inside of the windscreen, which monitors the road markings by evaluating the difference in contrast between the road surface and the markings. This makes the C-Class SUV better value for the money as it now has more active safety features than before.
The Night Edition GLC 200 and CLA 200 cars will come in a monochromatic colour palette combined with sporty AMG Line exterior styling on the outside.

The Mercedes-Benz Night Edition Variants Product Brief
The unique combination of AMG sportiness on the exterior highlights the advantages of the vehicle to
expressive effect. An impressive appearance is assured for the special model thanks to AMG multi-spoke
light-alloy wheels as well as LED High Performance headlamps. For a first-class and unique sense of
quality, the upholstery in ARTICO man-made leather, the floor mats, the beltline and also the dashboard
are showcased with white topstitching. A further visual highlight is created by the seat belts with white
stripe and also the vent surrounds with colour-coordinated white nozzle rings with carbon-fibre look trim
on the dashboard.
AMG bodystyling – sporty and purposeful aesthtics
The AMG bodystyling with characteristic front and rear apron and side sill panels presented in matt
titanium grey lends the vehicle its unmistakable character. This is further enhanced by AMG multi-spoke
light-alloy wheels in 18-inches and 19-inches for the CLA 200 Night Edition and GLA 200 Night Edition
respectively.
Colour choices and individual style
The Night Edition of the CLA 200 comes in Polar White, Cavansite Blue, Polar Silver, Cosmos Black and
Mountain Grey while the GLA 200 Night Edition is available in Polar White, Cavansite Blue, Cosmos Black
and Mountain Grey. Both feature black ARTICO leather interiors with white topstitching.
4-cylinder turbocharged power and 7G-CDT dual-clutch transmission
Sleek as they come, the GLA 200 and CLA 200 are both equipped with the 1.6-litre 4-cylinder
turbocharged engine developing a maximum output of 115 kW (156 hp) and 250 Nm maximum torque,
enabling these cars to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.9 and 8.1 seconds respectively.
The dual clutch transmission combines the comfort of a 7-speed automatic transmission with the driving
dynamics of a manual transmission. The shift characteristics can be preset from fuel-saving to sporty via
the "Economy", "Sport" and "Manual" transmission modes. When kickdown mode is used the electronic controller skips individual gears instead of changing down through each individual gear. This enables faster sprints.
