Naza Italia, official importer and authorised distributor of Ferrari in Malaysia, officially launched the Ferrari pop-up showroom which is currently situated right at the entrance of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur located along Jalan Bukit Bintang. The Ferrari Pop-Up Experience, as it is called, will be there until the 28th September 2018. The unique pop-up showroom is the first of its kind in Malaysia and part of a regional showcase that offers visitors to the area a taste of the Ferrari lifestyle.
The Ferrari Pop-Up Experience showroom features a car display area, an exclusive lounge and reception space. All kitted out in the Ferrari colours and design language of their showrooms. This is a mobile Ferrari showroom experience for those that have not the chance to actually set foot in one. Anyway, the pop-up showroom features two Ferrari models from the current range. The two stars for the Pop-Up showroom are the Ferrari Portofino and the Ferrari GTC4Lusso T.
Naza Italia states that is the first time that the Ferrari Portofino has been made available for public viewing in Malaysia since its official launch in May of this year. The Ferrari Portofino takes its name from one of the most attractive villages on the Italian Riviera in the Liguria Region.
The Portofino is a V8 GT which symbolises the ability for elegant daily driving - combining luxury, versatility and on-board comfort in a berlinetta coupé that effortlessly converts to a drop-top. It is the most powerful convertible car that Ferrari has ever produced, boasting an ability to unleash a tremendous 600cv and sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds. This Ferrari may look like it is more relaxed than a 488, but it is just as potent and actually, this is something which is easier on a day to day basis too.
The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T is the first four-seater in the history of Ferrari to sport a turbo-charged V8 engine. It presents a new Ferrari GT concept that is aimed at owners seeking a car that is sporty, dynamic, and ideal for driving on a daily basis. The grand tourer features shooting brake coupĂ© styling which is a streamlined, tapered shape that gives it an almost fastback-like silhouette which allows the supercar to be practical yet still a 100 percent Prancing Horse. The car’s 3.9-litre V8 turbo engine has a maximum power output is 610 hp at 7,500 rpm. And you can still just head to the stores in one easily.
It is indeed unique as Ferrari has never done this before here in Malaysia. According to Dato’ Samson Anand George, Group CEO, Automotive Group, Naza Corporation Holdings Sdn Bhd., "The Ferrari Pop-Up Experience, an expansive open-air showroom that greets the eyes with the brand’s signature red hue, invites the public to explore the lavish world of the Prancing Horse."
