The roadshow that UMW Toyota are currently doing promoting the upcoming all-new Toyota C-HR compact SUV has been receiving good response from the public. This was according to the public's reaction when it was displayed at various venues including Toyota Showrooms, shopping centres and also at the Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) Racing Festival at Batu Kawan Stadium, Penang thoughout the month of August. As such, they are continuing with the preview of the C-HR.
The public preview of the vehicle will continue in the month of September 2017 at selected showrooms and other venues in Peninsular Malaysia as listed below:
6 – 10 Sept
One Utama (LG Oval)
12 – 17 Sept
AEON Tebrau Johor Bahru (Centre Court)
The C-HR (I keep wanting to type HRC or CRH or HRV.....) is powered by a 1.8 litre Dual VVT-i engine and it is coupled to a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) with sequential shifter.
It comes with a full range of safety features including Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). Others include side mirror puddle lights, Follow-me-home headlights and a luxurious interior. All should give it a higher rating in the ASEAN NCAP if it is tested by the organisation.
