BMW Group Malaysia have launched the locally assembled version of the new G30 BMW 530i M Sport. It now costs RM 388, 800.00 (on the road, without insurance, and with BMW Group Malaysia’s latest 5 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty, Free Scheduled Service Program and BMW Tyre Warranty Programme) which is RM10,000 less than the fully imported variant we had earlier.
The locally assembled 530i M Sport carries similar features such as the M Aerodynamics components, M Sport brake, M light-alloy wheels, M specific pedals, and M leather steering wheels from the M Sport package. Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Warning, Approach Control Warning & Person Warning, Collision Warning, Park Assistant as well as the BMW Display Key and BMW Gesture Control are all made available also.
It will be available in the colours of Alpine White, Mediterranean Blue, Sophisto Grey and two additional colours, Carbon Black Metallic and Bluestone Metallic. There will also be two interior Leather Dakota upholstery interior colour choices - Black and Cognac.
Same car basically (with the exception of Adaptive Cruise Control - we get a more basic system now), just locally assembled in Kulim, Kedah with the slightly lower price tag. The reason it isn't lower is because BMW Group Malaysia was already given the EEV (Energy Efficient Vehicle) incentive pricing in lieu of local assembly. This is indeed a bonus as prior to this, most thought that the prices would remain the same even though the 530i M Sport became locally assembled.
This is what taking advantage of the system means.

be assembled in the country. The introduction of the Most Progressive
