The free safety inspection will be available from 2 to 4 July 2016, from 9 am to 7 pm at selected PETRONAS stations. This campaign is part of the on-going nationwide safety campaign where Proton owners can bring their cars to any PROTON authorized service centres for the free safety inspection. A car in good condition also ensures the safety of its occupants and others using the road. No breakdowns ensures no slowing down of traffic and a fully operational car has working brakes, working wipers etc ensures that simple safety features that we take for granted are working properly.
You may never know that a simple non-functioning brake light may cause people to rear end you. Or the fact that you have bad wiper blades on your car will make you lose visibility in a thunder storm and cause you to miss a turn. So any safety inspection may be a good thing.
