The Ford Ranger sold in Malaysia is now offered with a five (5) year warranty as a special offer from now through 30th June 2016. This applies to both the Ford Ranger 2.2L XLT and the Ranger 3.2L XLT. The warranty package is split into a manufacturer's warranty of three (3) years or 100,000km and an additional two (2) years or another 100,000km whichever comes first.
The other very important item, more important that the above is that the Ranger XLT now comes with a factory-fitted rear-view camera as standard. The rear-view camera is displayed on the Ranger’s 4.2-inch SYNC screen, and works together with Rear Park Assist, audible parking sensors that help drivers park with confidence. This helps in making the Ranger easier to live with on a day to day basis.
Do note again that the extended warranty for the Ranger is a limited time offer, with 30th June 2016 as the dateline.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 10 May 2016 – Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) is offering a five
year warranty for both the Ford Ranger 2.2L XLT and 3.2L XLT variants nationwide, as a special
offer from now through 30 June.
Customers who purchase and register a Ranger 2.2L XLT or 3.2L XLT by 30 June will enjoy a
manufacturer’s warranty of three years or 100,000km, with an additional two years or 100,000km
warranty through SDAC’s Extended Warranty Programme at no extra cost.
The Ranger XLT also now comes with a factory-fitted rear-view camera as standard, helping
provide the driver with a clearer view behind the vehicle, especially when parking. The rear-view
camera is displayed on the Ranger’s 4.2-inch SYNC screen, and works together with Rear Park
Assist, audible parking sensors that help drivers park with confidence.
