JAECOO Malaysia has just previewed the OMODA C9 (C9) SUV. This very premium looking and feeling SUV is planned to be launched in December of this year, and after looking at it at the preview today, this C9 should shake-up the D-segment SUV market with its engine performance, safety technology, creature comforts and signature competitive pricing strategy. JAECOO Malaysia aim to price even the full spec C9 under RM200,000, and I believe, many other brands that have a D segment SUV in and around the RM150,000 to RM225,000 price range will be sweating a little.

Federal Auto Group opens a new JAECOO dealership at Menara MBMR, Kuala Lumpur

Yesterday, the Federal Auto Group, a subsidiary of MBM Resources Berhad (who has a stake in Perodua and Daihatsu Malaysia directly aside from Federal Auto dealership brands), announced their latest strategic partnership. The group has opened a new Jaecoo dealership at Menara MBMR in Jalan Syed Putra, Kuala Lumpur. Aaaand that is a real stunner, the Jaecoo J7 is very reasonably priced (for Malaysia that is), which is from MYR138,800 onwards. I believe this is very good pricing for a more premium looking, and feeling SUV.

 CHERY Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd, officially launched the CHERY Corporate Malaysia Factory in Shah Alam, Selangor. The new assembly plant will be the first in the ASEAN region to produce the soon to be launched premium off road SUV, the JAECOO J7 in Malaysia.  Aside from that piece of good news, CHERY Malaysia also state that they plan to use the facilities as a base to conduct Research and Development for their right-hand drive cars for brands under the CHERY group..

Another manufacturer sets foor in Malaysia, JAECOO, with their premium SUV, the J7. Previewed by the public for the first time at the JAECOO Premiere Experience at Desa Park City on the 7th of March 2024, the J7 is the first model from the premium off-road SUV brand slated to be launched officially in Malaysia in the 1st half of 2024,,,, and its actually already March.  Malaysia will be the first in Southeast Asia to launch the J7, following a global rollout in Eastern Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Central and South America.
