'Welcome Back' Aftersales Campaign By Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM), the authorised distributors of Volkswagen cars in Malaysia has announced a “Welcome Back” aftersales campaign. The new campaign is for Volkswagen owners under the Volkswagen Cares initiative and it has been launched in lieu of the current Movement Control Order (MCO) due to the country's fight against the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

The VPCM 'Welcome Back' campaign is due to a significant number of Volkswagen owners have had to put their aftersales needs on hold as all service centres nationwide are closed to ensure the safety of customers and employees. This would mean any expiry of the warranty during the MCO does not happen and you have another 30 days if your warranty period falls during the MCO. Or if your servicing needs fall during the period, you also have 30 days to get it done once the MCO has been lifted

But you should registed your spot to service or to get your issues fixed as soon as possible...preferbly right now before the MCO is lifted.

VPCM has opened the invitation to all owners to register and book their appointments on the Volkswagen website from now onwards. Upon submission of interest, a Volkswagen personnel will be in touch to make the necessary arrangements. The appointment must be made within 30-days after the Movement Control Order is lifted.

Do take note. You have 30 days folks. And you get a free gift too. All Volkswagen owners who register during this period will receive a free Volkswagen merchandise.

Additionally, owners who are not redeeming their free maintenance service and are not Volkswagen Care Plus (VCP) members are entitled to an additional RM50 engine oil voucher, while those entering their fifth year of ownership are encouraged to sign up for the Volkswagen Care Plus programme to enjoy its benefits.

Volkswagen Malaysia will continue to honour the warranty of cars that were not able to meet the schedule service maintenance during the MCO.

Visit the Volkswagen Malaysia website for more details. All Volkswagen owners are required to download the Volkswagen Cares mobile app to enjoy the benefits. You should if you want to save some extra maintenance costs. From what I heard from customers who have joined, it does benefit them slightly in terms of running costs.
