SHELL RIMULA Provides Face Masks For Truckers Who Are Still Moving on the Road in their #HEROKAMI Campaign

Shell Malaysia via the Shell Rimula brand, which is Shell's heavy duty engine oil brand for commercial vehicles, has distributed 20,000 face masks to truckers plying routes in Malaysia recently. The initiative salutes the efforts of many hardworking truckers who continue to tirelessly move essential goods across the country even during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period which is in force to control the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. 

 The masks were handed over at selected participating truck service centres and Northport in Port Klang recently. A simple gesture which could mean a lot as face masks are a rare commodity in times like this and the truck drivers may not even have the time to get face masks as they are travelling around the country delivering necessary goods.

Yes, while some of the logistics company have indeed have their operations curtailed by the lack of cargo to be transported, there are still a lot of necessary goods that need to be moved and there are many trucks still on the road during the MCO.
