In conjunction with the 60 th Anniversary of MINI, MINI Malaysia recently gathered its MINIacs and Friends of MINI to form the number 60 with their MINI vehicles. The photos they took of the memorable occasion showed the Kuala Lumpur skyline making this Malaysian celebration of the MINI a little bit more different from the other celebrations of this iconic car, and brand elsewhere.
With the PETRONAS Twin Towers in the background and the KL Tower also, the number 60 is unique to our corner of the world, and speaking about the number 60, the first MINI cars rolled off the production line way back in 1959 and to this day, the original and now the brand with its different variants of the MINI have been popular with everyone. From motorists to even pop culture the MINI has made its mark. So it is something worth celebrating.
Now aside from the memorable gathering of MINIs of all ages, MINI Malaysia will be unveiling a new vehicle model on Friday, 19 th July 2019 in celebration of the 60th birthday of MINI. The model is the first of two new models that will be unveiled throughout the celebration. Some teaser pics are down below. It looks like a Cooper S with some extra equipment and trim fitted to it.
