The seventh generation Lexus ES sedan will be launched here in Malaysia. Lexus Centres nationwide will begin accepting pre-launch booking for the all-new Lexus ES250 beginning today. There will be two variants of the ES250 offered, one is the ES250 Luxury and the other, the ES250 Premium. Prices are estimated to start at RM299,888 onwards for this full sized, premium Japanese sedan.
The all-new 2019 Lexus ES250 features Lexus' latest styling cues. It has exterior styling that flows distinctively from its chiseled front end to the sleek coupe-like rear. It does have a low slung, sporty design by according to Lexus, the all-new Lexus ES250 still offers a more spacious and refined cabin than its predecessor. This is due to its wider and longer chassis, allowing for class-leading rear leg room, powered reclining rear seats in the top model, the Luxury specced car. In terms of its looks again, it does look imposing and distinctive at the same time.
The top of the line Luxury gets slightly better equipment, which includes a 10-way powered front seat, powered reclining rear seats, 3-zone climate control, a heads-up display, a 12.3-inch Electro Multi-vision Display in the centre console and a panoramic view monitor. The Luxury variant will also come with 3 Bi-Beam LED headlights and will have the added feature of Adaptive High Beam System (AHS) that channels the appropriate amount of light to darker areas of the road without blinding drivers in on-coming vehicles.
Both versions of the all-new Lexus ES250 will be equipped with the famed Lexus Safety System + (LSS+). This electronic driver aid encompasses the latest generation of Lexus safety technology aimed at reducing the occurrence and effects of traffic accidents. Items such as Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Pre-Collision System (PCS) and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) with Stop and Go Function are some of the most intuitive in the market and come standard in both variants.
The all-new Lexus ES250 that will be made available in seven exterior colours and two interior colour choices (not mentioned fully as yet, but expect the usual black, grey, silver to be its standard colour choices). It is front wheel driven, and powered by a new 2.5-litre engine mated to a Direct-Shift 8- speed automatic gearbox.
