Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) Invites Customers and Enthusiasts to Porsche Malaysia’s inaugural Sportscar Together Day at The Sepang Circuit on 3rd August 2019

Interesting Saturday ahead folks, especially if you are a Porsche owner or you are an enthusiast of the sports car brand. On 3rd of August 2019, Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), the official distributor of Porsche here in Malaysia invites its customers and all Porsche fans to Malaysia’s inaugural (Porsche) Sportscar Together Day, at Sepang International Circuit.

The purpose of the Sportscar Together Day is to bring the Porsche community closer where fans can learn more about Porsche’s heritage. They can get to see in person all generations of the iconic 911 there as well as the award-winning 919 Hybrid racing car. Aside from that, one can take a glipmse into the future of Porsche with the Mission E 1:3 scale model Augmented Reality (AR) experience that previews the first all-electric model from Porsche, the Taycan.

All Porsche owners are invited to gather on the racetrack during this Sportscar Together Day to celebrate and pay homage to the brand’s motorsport DNA, set to be one of the largest recorded gatherings of Porsche cars ever in the country.

Those who are Porsche and motoring enthusiasts can register for the Porsche Experience activity and get behind the wheel of a Porsche, while parents can sign their child up for the Porsche Junior Experience programme. So everyone gets to Porsche in one way or another.

I should be attending the event if all goes well. It does seem that this year I have been heading to the Sepang Circuit more than ever. In terms of the circuit, it is jam packed with events, and life does go on without the need for any F1 races on its calendar.
