The authorised distributors of Mazda vehicles in Malaysia, Bermaz Motor, has announced that brand new Mazda vehicles sold through official channels which have been registered from January 1, 2019 onwards will have 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty + 5 Years Free Maintenance (or 100,000km whichever comes first). The Free Maintenance period for Mazda vehicles sold in Malaysia by Bermaz was previously 3-Years or 60,000km Free Maintenance. This is quite a sweet deal from one of the better Japanese car brands out there.
What this actually does is match the warranty and maintenance packages in terms of length of time as well as the mileage done by the vehicles. Now, to make things simple, it is 5 years or 100,000KM which ever comes first for both the mileage or the period for warranty.
Mazda’s FREE maintenance package provides Mazda vehicle owners with free scheduled maintenance according to manufacturer’s standards and is inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants. With the increase in the length of time, or extra servicing, Bermaz Motor is offering more value for your money. All one needs to do is just buy a Mazda and keep on driving it for 5 or so years.
Do note that this extended Free maintenance package is not for the BT-50 Pickup truck. There should be other terms and conditions which would be better explained if you head over to a Mazda showroom and talk to their sales personnel. Aside from that, this is a good deal to say the least.
