Proton has some offers and promotions in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya festive season. The company is offering 'The Greatest Saga Deal'. According to them, their best prices ever in the last ten years or so. The Proton Saga can be yours from below RM30,000 and in support of Tabung Harapan Malaysia, Proton has pledged RM10 from every Proton car purchase to be donated to the government fund. Proton cares (There was actually a Proton Iswara CARES variant in the 1990s by the way).
This initiative to help fill up the Tabung Harapan Malaysia will take effect from 1 June 2018 to 31 December 2018. Those that aren't aware, this is the crowd funding campaign started up by the current government to receive public fund to help pay off the country's national debt.
Of course, aside from the very affordably priced Proton Saga and the pledge to donate some money, there will also be great savings for all other Proton models. There will be savings of up to RM4,000 for Iriz and Ertiga, and up to RM3,000 for Persona. The savings offered are on top of the zerorised GST, resulting in an offer almost double the GST reduction.

This is Proton's latest effort to drum up sales which seem to have fallen in recent months. Their sales average for the last few months has been pretty bad (last report stated at under 4,000 units for that month) and it seems to have maintained the low sales numbers even with the addition of several new people in key sales and marketing positions. The numbers have not budged upwards.
Of course, the company has not kept quiet, they have added more dealers who have agreed to upgrade their dealerships to fully fledged 3S and 4S centers. All of this should improve the customer experience which could be crucial when the new Proton/Geely Boyue SUV starts selling. But for now, there are the sales promos stated below:

Free 20-Point Inspection at selected PETRONAS Stations Nationwide
Aside from the rebates, there will also be Free 20-point inspection nationwide and at selected PETRONAS Stations from now until 15th June 2018. The 20-point inspection will cover areas like brake and clutch pedal operations, all switches, lighting and indicators inside instrument panel, safety belts, battery checks, wiper blades, engine oil, coolant and others.
For those last minute travellers who would like to get their cars for the 20-point check, especially those travelling on long journeys towards North, South and East Coast, they can also head on to selected PETRONAS Stations (Refer appendix – table 2 for details), where the PROTON service team will be there to perform the necessary quick checks.

I had order Saga Executive on 11 June 2018, until now( 13 July 2018 )haven get the car. Very very slow!..
Obviously slow la..you ordered during the ZERO GST period. Everyone is buying cars during this time. Even Proton's sale are up by 50% on average. Before this, they were averaging 4,000 units monthly sales. After May, 6,000 UNITS sales with at least double the bookings - after loan rejection, you still see 2,000 more protons sold. Your order with proton isnt the only problem. I know people who are buying volkswagen, toyota, volvo facing the same issue. The car is cheaper now...of course there is a waiting list!
