2017 Renault Sport Track Days: tackling Europe’s greatest tracks!

This is an interesting bit of news if you have the resources to do so and is already bored of the usual Renault Malaysia Track Day at Sepang.  Groupe Renault today announced the opening of online registrations for 2017 Renault Sport Track Days over in Europe.
Spa-Francorchamps Renault Sport Track Day 2016

For the 2017 season, Renault Sport has come up with a mouthwatering calendar, featuring four legendary tracks in France and Belgium:
  • Monday, 20 March: Magny-Cours
  • Monday, 24 April: Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium)
  • Saturday, 13 May: Paul Ricard (Le Castellet)
  • Monday, 4 September: Bugatti – Le Mans
It only costs about 310,00 € last I checked. The only real drawback if you're here in Asia is that it is far and you have to bring your own Renault car.  I suppose some of you Renault Sport enthusiasts can see and work around this small little issue.
As the concept is international, other track days will shortly be scheduled in the likes of Germany, Morocco, Japan and Brazil. Check out the links in the press release below for more details folks.

MEDIA RELEASE
2017 Renault Sport Track Days: tackling Europe’s greatest tracks!
  • Opening of reservations for the 2017 European calendar of Passion Days with Renault Sport.
  • An offering for customers of the R.S. range since more than ten years.
  • Professional instruction on four legendary circuits in France and Belgium.

Les Ulis, France, 24th January, 2017 – Groupe Renault today announced the opening of online registrations for 2017 Renault Sport Track Days.
For the last ten years or so, Renault Sport Track Days have allowed owners of vehicles from the R.S. range to perfect their track driving skills. With their racing-derived technologies, the R.S. are able to fully express their potential in an appropriate, secure setting. That is because tuition and support is provided during the track days by professional instructors and drivers.
After a safety briefing, participants are placed in groups based on ability, and can spend the day honing their driving skills. The track sessions last no more than twenty minutes at a time, so that both driver and machine have time to cool off! The Renault Sport Track Days also give customers the opportunity to test drive the latest additions to the range or to enjoy some genuine racing thrills in a Clio Cup track experience or coaching session!
Éric Bernard, Sales and Marketing Director, Renault Sport Cars: "The Renault Sport experience does not begin and end with the purchase and servicing of a vehicle. Renault Sport Track Days are just one of the innovative – and consistently popular – services offered to owners of vehicles from the R.S. range. Being able to drive on iconic tracks such as Circuit Paul Ricard or Spa-Francorchamps is a very special experience. We are very much looking forward to meeting our customers at these events this year."
