The new RN8JSNA model is now equipped with higher horse power of 285PS and 775Nm torque compared to the previous model which made 260Ps and 892Nm torque. The new RK8JSKA which replaces two variants - RK1JSKA 210PS/554Nm and RK1JSLL 250PS/745Nm, makes 245PS and 775Nm.
All the buses chassis are only available with manual transmission and there are no signs of automatic transmissions for the moment. We suppose it is purely a cost issue as most customers which opt for Japanese coaches/buses are price sensitive. That being said, HINO had also announced a new 12-months and 100,000 kilometres warranty, which prior to whichever come first on chassis manufacturer defects only.
The RK8JSKA chassis is priced from RM232,700.00.
