Those who are up north and are Ford Mustang or American muscle car fans take note. Ford via distributors Sime Darby Auto Connexion will be displaying a Mustang 2.3liter EcoBoost over at the Sime Darby Auto Connexion Juru Showroom over in Seberang Perai, Penang from the 15th to the 24th of July 2016.
The Ford Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost has 317ps and 432Nm of torque. This would allow this smallest engine version of the Mustang (there is a larger 5.0liter V8 also on sale in Malaysia) a 0-100kmh time of 5.8seconds and a max speed of around 238kph. Still fast enough to take out a lot of cars actually. Or cruise comfortably up and down the Malaysian Peninsular. Note that it is a rear wheel drive car. Oversteer should be very possible and a lot of fun in the correct hands.
It costs from RM488,888 by the way. A bit on the high side for something with a 2.3liter engine. Of course, road tax is waaay cheap ther than the 5.0liter version which comes in from RM598,888.
