Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), the official distributor of Ford in Malaysia recently announced their ‘Seize the Deal’ campaign which will be ongoing till 31st August 2018. This latest campaign offers rebates of up to 17 percent over and above the six percent GST reduction on all variants of the Ford Mustang, Fiesta and Ranger models. Customers can enjoy significant savings of up to RM113,000 for these cars - the Mustang being the highest.

Ford via distributors Sime Darby Auto Connexion will be displaying a Mustang 2.3liter EcoBoost over at the Sime Darby Auto Connexion Juru Showroom over in Seberang Perai, Penang from the 15th to the 24th of July 2016.

And there you have it. The chap who bought the first officially sold RHD Ford Mustang to be registered in Malaysia had bought the 5.0liter V8. Now we're talking. A big thumbs up. Then again, if the price of the car is already over RM450,000 for the entry level 2.3liter version, and the 5.0liter V8 is only a mere RM100,000 more.....the choice is quite easy actually. Congratulations is in order.

Ford Mustang quietly launched in Malaysia

This had actually sneaked pass most of our radars. Ford Malaysia via local distributor Sime Darby Auto Connexion launched the Ford Mustang earlier today. The launch was done without much fanfare.

Ford to Preview Iconic New Mustang for the First Time in Malaysia

Hello folks! Ford has announced that you can view the iconic Ford Mustang over at Publika in Solaris Dutamas over the next few days. This is way ahead of its official launch sometime at the end of this year. A teaser you may say.

The iconic Mustang will be offered in Malaysia in both a fastback and convertible, and with a choice of a 5.0-litre V8, producing 435 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque, or a turbocharged, fuel-efficient 2.3-litre EcoBoost® engine, producing 310 horsepower. Quite amazing is the fact that they are actually bringing in the 5.0 V8 even though Malaysian road tax for that engine capacity will cost in excess of RM10,000.00 for private users. Gotta admire their guts for doing so.
