The all-new Leapmotor B10 EV SUV now open for booking from RM110k to RM120k with pre-launch offers

Leapmotor Malaysia has announced that the all-new electric Leapmotor B10 battery electric SUV is now open for booking. The B10  is estimated to be priced between RM110,000 and RM120,000 when it officially launches in December 2025. If you book early, early birds can secure their booking with an order fee of just RM80 and enjoy some offers. 

The first 200 customers will receive an exclusive ‘LeapX100’ package, which offers either a free wallbox charger or complimentary service, and topped up with a very attractive cash rebate, offering a total value of up to RM8,000.

 So recently, JETOUR Malaysia has recently unveiled the estimated price for the upcoming Jetour T2 all terrain premium SUV which will be estimated at RM178,888 onwards.The Jetour T2 first made its Malaysian debut earlier this year and recently showcased its right-hand drive (RHD) version. According to Jetour Malaysia, it makes Malaysia among the first markets globally to experience the model. It has a chunky, squared off , utilitarian styling, powerful performance and intelligent features which to me brings more of the traditional looking SUV rather than the rounded lines of many new SUVs on sale today.

 The All New Proton SAGA has been unveiled recently and we got to view and try it out. So this means a new video is out on our YouTube channel. This means a test around Proton's Tanjung Malim test track and a preview of its features. We see that it has a new interior, especially a new dashboard with a one piece wrap around Infotainment system and instrument cluster. Volkswagen Malaysia Launches the New Golf R-Line and New Golf GTI Mk8.5

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia has launched the Newest, most current range of cars from the Golf model here. These models, from what most enthusiasts know as the refreshed Mk8.5 Golfs, are the New Golf R-Line, introduced witha new 1.5 eTSI MHEV engine replacing the previous 1.4 TSI variant, and a new Golf GTI offers more power with additional 20PS. 

Proton eMAS 5 launched - This could be the game changing vehicle that brings EV to the Malaysian masses

Last week,  PROTON launched the Proton e.MAS 5, which is the cheapest brand new EV on sale in Malaysia to date. This could be the catalyst for the EV market here in Malaysia as it brings affordability coming in from RM59,800 for the Prime and RM72,800 before any insurance for the loaded Premium variant. With it, brings affordability to the EV market and with anything, especially when after all the first adopters have bought their EVs, comes this second wave to try capture the sceptics and those first adopters with shallower pockets. As on a personal note, I believe the first adopters buying new energy vehicles over RM100,000 is now on a decline. 

GAC M8 PHEV launched in Malaysia with prices from RM328,000 onwards for the premium specced MPV

GAC vehicles official distributor for Malaysia, WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA), recently announced the official prices for the GAC M8 PHEV MPV. The highly specced MPV will be offered here in two variants,the Premium and the Luxury with on the-the road price for Pen.Msia (excluding Insurance) at RM328,800 and RM388,800 respectively. Also in conjunction with the launch, customers who place bookings before 31 December 2025 will enjoy two years of complimentary scheduled maintenance and receive a portable charging cable, offering a combined value of RM3,800. Last 29th of  October 2025,  iCAUR Malaysia today previewed the iCAUR V23,this is the latest all-electric off-road SUVfrom this new brand. Building on the momentum of the recently launched iCAUR 03, the C-Segment iCAUR V23 strengthens the blends modern performance, safety, and versatility with

a distinctive design pays homage to iconic off-road machines from a bygone era. It does combine the styling from some Land Cruisers and Defenders out there, with a fully electric drivetrain. A chunky looking SUV that we remember compared to the new bulbous styled ones these days.

New video alert! This is our impressions and opinions after Proton allowed us a go with the upcoming (as at upload) 2025 2026 Proton e.MAS 5 battery electric vehicle (BEV). Do note that the test drive was under strict embargo rules so they unfortunately had a non stickered eMAS 5 out beside the stickered one and only allowed us to show the stickered one. It made footage hard. So you will only see me babbling on about the car. But if you want to know my opinion, this is it.

This is based on the Geely Star Wish and it set to be priced between 60k - 80k Malaysian Ringgit.

VIDEO: Road trip to Melaka and back in the new 2025 PROTON X50 SUV

This is a review of the new 2025 PROTON X50 compact SUV. This was recently launched here in Malaysia and is the facelift of what is currently the most popular B segment Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in Malaysia. It features a redesigned front and rear end, a redesigned interior with a very large, now HD infotainment screen with a new dashboard design. Most importantly is a new 1.5liter turbo petrol 4 cylinder engine replacing the old 3 cylinder one. The new engine runs through a 7 speed dual clutch transmission to the front wheels and it quite a nippy little SUV. Here, we take it from the Klang Valley to the streets of Melaka, and back.

Chery TIGGO 7 PHEV and TIGGO 8 PHEV launched together in Malaysia- Fully specced out Plug in Hybrid Vehicle that will be priced from RM129,800 and RM159,800 onwards respectively

Chery Malaysia had on the 3rd of October 2025 launched its Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs): the TIGGO 7 PHEV and TIGGO 8 PHEV SUVs The Tiggo 7 PHEV will be priced at RM129,800 on the road before insurance while the TIGGO 8 PHEV is priced at RM159.800  before insurance and both are  fully decked out in terms of its specification and equipment levels, with some slight differences.

While the TIGGO 8 is essentially a 7 seater TIGGO 7 (which is a 5 seater), there are enough equipment differences between the models. The price difference is because of the differences in equipment, slightly upgraded features as well as the extra length in the TIGGO 8. So there was a balance of equipment and specifications in both models that Chery Malaysia needed to do to sell at the price point they chose for the models.
