A milestone for Malaysian automotive assembly - The 100,000th Mercedes-Benz vehicle rolls off the line at the Pekan Plant

Recently, the Mercedes-Benz Production Plant in Pekan is celebrated another milestone of production with the rolling out its 100,000th Mercedes-Benz passenger car. This historical milestone underlines Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s commitment and dedication to manufacturing excellence and innovation in the luxury automotive industry, or in a much broader scale, the Malaysian automotive industry, as a premium brand has been assembling so many vehicles in the country to date.

MERCEDES-BENZ MALAYSIA Launches the Locally Assembled E 350 e Plug-in Hybrid - AMG Line, Exclusive Line & an Edition 60 Limited Model



Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has now launched the locally assembled Mercedes-Benz E 350 e Plug-in Hybrid. This is part of MBM's sales and marketing strategy where the brand basically plays within the current Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) regulations which allows MBM to bring in very well specified cars and still price them competitively. The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class assembled in the Mercedes-Benz Pekan Plant are the E 350 e AMG Line and Exclusive Line, as well as a limited to sixty units model, the E 350 e Edition 60 (celebrating Malaysia's 60 years of independence).
