Hino Malaysia recently expanded its after-sales network with its latest Hino Approved Service Outlet (HASO) in Hutan Melintang, Perak. Auto Ventures Motor (M) Sdn Bhd has been appointed as its latest (HASO) service centre strengthening Hino’s after-sales service network and support for commercial vehicle customers in the region. The appointment marks Hino Malaysia’s 18th HASO in the country and its first in Perak. The centre provides customers in Hutan Melintang, Bagan Datuk, Teluk Intan and surrounding areas better access to Hino’s standard servicing, maintenance and genuine parts support.
The official opening was officiated by HMSM Director, Mr. Ahmad Yasmin Bin Yahya and Auto Ventures Motor Managing Director, Mr. Subas Bully Baboo. The centre affirms Hino Malaysia’s commitment to expanding its after-sales network and providing customers with accessible and reliable support throughout their vehicle ownership.
The new HASO is strategically located within an area driven by agriculture and commercial activities. It is positioned to support businesses and customers involved in agriculture, fisheries, palm oil and coconut plantations, transportation, as well as FELDA and FELCRA related support industries. The full fledged centre is approximately two acres (87,120 sq ft) in size and is equipped with five service bays in total, comprising two express maintenance service bays and three normal service bays, with an estimated service capacity of seven vehicles per day.
The facility is currently supported by three service technicians, one service advisor and one parts advisor. Also available are the customer facilities include a lounge and waiting area, Wi-Fi, customer parking, refreshments and toilets.
The centre features all the important aftersales services. Services include periodic maintenance, minor and general repairs, emergency breakdown assistance, vehicle inspection support, body and paint services, as well as assistance with insurance, road tax and permits renewal. Hino Genuine Parts will also be available, including fast-moving items such as filters, clutch components, engine oil and brake linings.
Auto Ventures Motor began in 2012 with a focus on light-duty trucks and has since expanded its capabilities across commercial vehicle servicing, repairs, parts supply and other vehicle support services. Its appointment as a HASO marks another milestone in the company’s growth and strengthens its ability to serve Hino customers in the region. The outlet currently serves approximately 30 customers per month.
