The New Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S 4MATIC+ & GLC 63 S Coupé 4MATIC+ is Now Available in Malaysia

Last week, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia launched what they consider their Ultimate Performance Athletes. These are the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S 4MATIC+ & GLC 63 S Coupé 4MATIC+. These heavyweights were launched together with the iconic and most probably G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) off-roading Mercedes-Benz, the all-New Mercedes-Benz G-Class or G-Wagen as most of us like to call it.

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Line was launched earlier today at the Mercedes-Benz Malaysia mid-2018 media briefing on the premium brand's performance to date. It will be the range topping Mercedes-Benz E-Class variant, aside from the full AMG models (E43, E63 S or the E53 if it is launched here). It will replace the E 350 e plug-in hybrid which will be discontinued.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia posts another fantastic first half of 2017 sales and after-sales performance & Shows off its new customer experience initiatives

Today I got to hear Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s sales performance for the first half of 2017. The automotive juggernaut basically recorded growth in the first half of 2017 was primarily driven by the locally produced line-up, namely the Mercedes-Benz C-, E-, and S-Class, with a total of 3,663 units sold.

Industry News: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia 1st Half 2016 Performance Report - Record Sales Figures & More.....

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia have actually broke a number of its own records again for the 1st half of 2016 in terms of sales performance. Double digit growths and 6,017 cars delivered to customers during that period. Seriously folks, the premium end of car sales here in Malaysia is largely unaffected by whatever supposed slowdown in the country's economy. What credit crunch you might ask?

SHORT TEST DRIVE: MERCEDES BENZ W205 C-CLASS C300 AMG LINE & C180 AVANTGARDE and a bit on the W204 in comparison to the W205

 C300 AMG Line

There are times when I would start and say that the article will be a short one. It sometimes becomes long winded and therefore long as heck. It happens as I end up having so many things to say about a car. This article is supposed to be a short drive article, but since it includes thoughts on two variants and two generations of car. It will be pretty long actually and it is about the Mercedes Benz W205 C-Class. The C300 and the C180 variants as well as a comparison with the W204 model that preceded it (in terms of ride and handling).

Spotted For Sale: 1964 Mercedes Benz 220S - Oh, the Horror!!!!

The first word that came to my mind when I saw this was...why? What we have here is an abomination of sorts. A classic collectible Mercedes Benz Fintail that has its heart transplanted to a twin turbo Japanese engine together with a cobbled up interior. Take a look at that transmission tunnel/center console. Taken straight from the donor Toyota car with some D.I.Y panels to put some gauges here and there. Even the doors have some funky mdf (aka plywood) board to hold some speakers.

Our Cars: The W204 C180 needs and gets new tyres - Continental MC5

It seems so fast. It has already been two and a half years since I purchased the Mercedes Benz w204 C180. In mileage terms, I have done slightly over 40,000km in it and it now needs new tyres. The car came with expensive Continental CSC5 tyres (which recently came up tops in EVO's tyre of the year recently). That tyre was good in the dry, good in the wet and quite quiet on most road surfaces. It was consistent in its grip and its give. It was predictable too and you could give the C180 a shove out of junctions so that the tail would wag a little when turning left or right. I suppose that this is because it is a top dollar tyre. Top dollar prices too.

TEST DRIVE: Mercedes GLA200 - ride comfort is back for the Mercedes A-class platform

Mercedes Benz is on a roll with their smallest model, the current A-class. This car, in its premium hatchback form has actually made a whole new group of people Mercedes Benz owners. Sales are up and everything is all fine and dandy. But the best thing about the A-class is that it has given birth to the fancy looking CLA four door coupe-with-the-practicality-of-a sedan-thingy and the GLA Class. The SUV variant of the A-class.

Tech Talk: Mercedes Benz Malaysia says its not their fault you're having problems with Grey Imports and...

....I have to agree with them. This issue cropped up due to Malaysians who buy grey import Mercedes Benz Direct Injection (CGI) or even the CDI diesel models who are suffering from engine ailments caused by Malaysian petrol being of Euro 2 standard when the Euro or Japan Specced models brought in by grey importers or AP holders require at least Euro 4. Those that bought via official Mercedes Benz dealers (like Yours Truly...Muahahahahaha) will not face such problems.

W222 Mercedes Benz S-Class to be launched in Malaysia sometime in March 2014

To those CEOs, Chairmen of large multi-million Ringgit companies and other Captains of Industries (including those shady characters who get money through 'other' sources) take note that the W222 Mercedes Benz S-class will be launched sometime in March 2014.

The model that would be brought in at the launch is the S400 Hybrid and it is rumoured to be in Semi-Knocked Down or SKD format. This simply means that some assembly of the car would be done at the Mercedes Benz assembly plant in Pekan, Pahang.
