Find out why I think the W204 Mercedes-Benz C-Class was designed to last a very long time - Video

There is a new video on the Motoring Malaysia YouTube channel folks. This time I've decided to talk about my own car, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C180 Blue Efficiency W204 series C-Class.

Our Cars/ Long Term Test: Continental MC5 on the C180 after 15,000km

This is a short piece since I am on vacation with the family. As you folks are aware, the Mercedes-Benz C180 W204 had been fitted with Continental MC5 aka MAX contact replacing the OE fitted Continental CSC5 tyres. Now since I have done around 15,000km on them it's time to review them.

Our Cars: The W204 C180 needs and gets new tyres - Continental MC5

It seems so fast. It has already been two and a half years since I purchased the Mercedes Benz w204 C180. In mileage terms, I have done slightly over 40,000km in it and it now needs new tyres. The car came with expensive Continental CSC5 tyres (which recently came up tops in EVO's tyre of the year recently). That tyre was good in the dry, good in the wet and quite quiet on most road surfaces. It was consistent in its grip and its give. It was predictable too and you could give the C180 a shove out of junctions so that the tail would wag a little when turning left or right. I suppose that this is because it is a top dollar tyre. Top dollar prices too.

Updates to the site and we welcome the Mercedes 190e 2.3 8v as part of our fleet.

If you noticed we've now put an 'Our Cars' link as well as a link to our Facebook site so that you may interact with us on that social network.

The interesting thing is that genuine petrolhead and motoring enthusiast Adlis K who now owns the modern classic Mercedes Benz 190e 2.3 8v with the Cossie bodykit and 190e EVO2 wheels has decided to join forces and become a contributor.

We will be featuring parts of the car's refurbishment under his hands in the coming months. Or Years. It all depends on how long he decides to keep the car. This fella is a serial car buyer, and with that comes serial car seller. So you never know. But do stay tuned folks. Things are picking up in here.

Also to come are reviews of the Suzy Alto 1.0, a few longer writeups that we have planned and other stuff. We can't exactly say as we like doing things at the spur of the moment. It makes life interesting doesn't it?
