The All new Peugeot 408 makes it to Malaysia - Prices start at a very reasonable RM146,055!

This, to me, is a breath of fresh air. The all-new Peugeot 408 has been launched and it is actually something nice to look at and something with a dollop of heritage behind it. This comes after a slew of brand new car launches from brands that are essentially new and from start ups. It is Available in three variants - Allure, Premium and GT with prices starting from RM146,055, is proudly assembled in Malaysia from Stellantis Gurun, Kedah and looks darn good for a C segment crossover fastback car.

GWM Malaysia announces that their new ORA 07 battery electric sedan is now open for Booking

Another mid-sized EV sedan is coming to town folks! GWM Malaysia has annouced that their GWM ORA 07 fastback styled sedan is now open for booking. This is the latest edition to the retro looking current range of Great Wall Motors' cars to be sold in Malaysia. The Ora Good Cat compact hatchback comes to mind with its unique looks. This ORA 07 definitely takes after that with its rounded styling cues. Quite different from the usual fare we get and somehow blends German retro styling to modern tech. 

Finally Launched in Malaysia - The Volkswagen Arteon 2.0TSI R-Line - In a Pleasantly Priced Locally Assembled (CKD) Form

Finally, after over a year of waiting, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has launched the highly-anticipated, all-new Arteon R-Line in Malaysia. However, the wait is actually worth is as instead of a more expensive fully imported variant, it is now offered in a locally assembled form (CKD) at an attractive price of RM220,043.28 until the 31st of December 2020

Here is a short video featuring the 2019 Volkswagen Arteon. The Arteon was previewed over at the (ongoing) Volkswagen Fest 2019 at Setia City Convention Centre (and will be around till 1st September 2019). This was something I whipped up while I was at the official opening of the Volkswagen fest.

Its that Volkswagen time of the year again. The Volkswagen Fest is back for the third time and Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) says that it will be filled with fun, games, thrills and most importantly, lots of deals for all that visit. It is happening from 30 th August till 1 st September 2019 at Setia City Convention Centre in Setia Alam, this year’s fest will showcase the launch of Volkswagen’s very own Certified Pre-Owned, “Das Welt Auto” and also a display of their upcoming all-new Arteon performance fastback.
