Refreshed GAC GS3 EMZOOM launched - Minor enhancements notably a new front grille and two tone exterior option for Premium R variant

 

WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA), the official distributor and assembler of GAC vehicles in Malaysia, has released a refreshed GAC GS3 EMZOOM.  “Refreshed, Ready, Revved Up,” - the update brings minor design enhancements, natably including a redesigned Flowing Diamond Star front grille and a new two-tone exterior option for the Premium R variant. The EMZOOM is now available in four colour options: Graphite Grey with Black Roof, Super Star Silver with Black Roof, Frost White with Black Roof, and Asphalt Black.

The EMZOOM compact SUV keeps its 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 177 PS and 270 Nm of torque, coupled with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission driving its front wheels. A 0–100 km/h time of 8seconds and fuel consumption rated at 5.9L/100km, makes it have a decent balance of performance and economy.

The EMZOOM is well-equipped within its segment with features such as a digital cockpit with dual screens, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Full Automatic Parking Assist (FAPA). The Premium R variant also includes a switchable sports exhaust system and Aero kit for a more sporty and engaging drive. Add to its sharp, rakish lines, the EMZOOM looks distinctive enough amidst a sea of SUVs on sale today.

WTCA states that the pricing remains unchanged for the EMZOOM. It is priced competively from RM116,800 for the Exclusive variant and RM126,800 for the Premium R variant (Peninsular Malaysia, on-the-road without insurance). 

Customers can enjoy rebates of up to RM18,500, with monthly instalments from as low as RM912 (Available for a limited period only). 

The EMZOOM is supported by GAC’s growing network of 23 showrooms and 45 service centres nationwide. It comes with a 5-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty, along with a 7- year/180,000 km engine and transmission warranty.

The refreshed EMZOOM will be available at GAC showrooms nationwide, with test drives open to customers from 9 to 10 May 2026.
