JAC Auto (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has officially launched the all-new JAC N90 light-duty truck, engineered to meet the evolving needs of modern logistics and transport operations. Unveiled at the recently held Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2026 at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC), the event was graced by Transport Minister YB Anthony Loke, who officiated the launch during his visit to the JAC Auto Malaysia booth.
Positioned as an ideal solution for suburban deliveries, construction tasks, and frequent long-haul transport, the N90 combines advanced safety features, strong performance, and low ownership costs. The N90 is already available for purchase at all authorised JAC dealerships nationwide at RM118,000 (Bare Chassis). It comes with a six year warranty or 300,000km, whichever comes first. Customers will also benefit from a complimentary 10,000km free service programme.
According to Oscar Yu, General Manager of JAC International, “The new N90 marks a significant advancement in JAC Motors’ mission to deliver high-performance, technologically sophisticated commercial vehicles,” said Yu. “It’s built to meet the rising demands of transport operators with powerful Cummins engine performance, cutting-edge safety systems, and efficient operating costs delivering reliable transport solutions day in and day out.”
Now in its sixth generation, the JAC light-duty truck series has earned a global reputation as a dependable workhorse, with over 3.2 million units sold worldwide since its debut. The new N90 reinforces JAC’s presence in the premium light-duty truck segment, offering an attractive blend of power, durability, and efficiency.
Built around a 7.5-tonne Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) platform, the N90 ensures high performance and resilience across a broad range of commercial applications. The N90 features a well-proven Cummins B4.5 (Euro V) engine paired with an Eaton-Fuller ESO-6106A manual transmission. According to JAC, the combination delivers strong launch performance and improved fuel efficiency. At highway speeds of 80–90 km/h, the engine operates within an optimal 1,200–1,600 rpm range, contributing to an estimated 3–5 percent reduction in fuel consumption compared to direct-drive transmissions.

The N90 is equipped with JAC’s latest generation cab, designed with driver comfort and convenience in mind. Interior features include air-suspension seat, step-less adjustable armrest, and a 10.4-inch multimedia touchscreen paired with LCD instrument cluster toenhance connectivity and ease of operation.
The N90 is equipped with intelligent active safety systems including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Acceleration Slip Regulation (ASR), Hill-Start Assist (HAS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) to enhance driving stability and safety in various road conditions.
With its combination of robust performance, advanced safety features, driver-focussed comfort and competitive operating cost, the all new JAC N90 is poised to become a strong contender in Malaysia’s light-duty truck segment, supporting businesses across logistics, construction, distribution and other commercial sectors.
