The simple act of filling up your tank at a Shell station will go a long way in making an impact on their future

KOTA KINABALU, 16 DECEMBER 2015 – It is the ‘Season of Giving’ and this year, Shell

Timur Sdn Bhd together with Retailers in Sabah aims to raise up to RM40,000 as contributions

towards the building of a schoolgirl’s hostel at Kg. Bantayan, Tamparuli. The hostel, when

completed will accommodate up to 200 rural schoolgirls aged 12 to 18 in the area, who would

otherwise have to travel through long and difficult journey every day to get to school.

For this cause, Shell Retailers in Sabah will contribute 1 cent for every 1 litre fuel pumped at

chance at a better and brighter future.”

“It is encouraging to see so many individuals dedicated to making an impact in their

communities. This simple act of filling up your tank on Monday, December 21st will mean a lot

this festive season. We are optimistic that with the support from everyone, we will be able to

surpass the target amount and contribute towards making a real and lasting difference,” added
