Weststar Maxus, the sole distributor for the Maxus range of vehicles in Malaysia, has announced their zero percent GST pricing for the range of Maxus G10 luxury MPV and Maxus V80 commercial vehicles which is effective immediately. This is because there are ongoing discounts, so there is no real need to wait till the official 1st of June 2018 no GST date here as they currently have an ongoing promotion on their vehicles.

Zero GST - Perodua Updates its Prices

So far, we've been receiving a lot of e-mails from distributors and manufacturers about their car prices following the Zero Rated GST decision by the government pending a return to SST type of sales taxes. Now, we'd like to share with you that Perodua, the Malaysian compact car manufacturer has announced that they will fully reimburse the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to customers who purchase a new Perodua vehicle, service their Perodua vehicle or buy parts between 18 and 31 May 2018, ahead of the zero-rated GST implementation on 1 June 2018. So you now do not need to wait till the 1st of June if you want to buy a Perodua as you'll still benefit.
