The 2024 Mercedes-Benz C 350 e Plug-in Hybrid is the new C-Class range topper here in Malaysia. Prices estimated to start at RM355k






Yesterday, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia unveiled the latest variant of the best-selling Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan for the Malaysian market. This one is the new range topper here, the 2024 (W206) Mercedes-Benz C350e Plug-in Hybrid with the AMG-Line trim. The new luxury compact sedan is locally assembled at the Mercedes-Benz production plant in Pekan, Pahang. The C 350 e Plug-in Hybrid combines a 95kw electric motor with a traditional 2.0liter petrol engine for enhanced efficiency. It replaces the previous range topper, the conventional petrol powered C300 AMG line, and is estimated to come in at around RM355,000 before any insurance.

TEST DRIVE: The 2018 Mercedes-Benz C350 e Plug-in Hybrid - The Ultimate Compact Luxury Sedan... For Now


Two years ago, or thereabouts, I had the chance to try out the then newly launched in Malaysia W205 Series Mecedes-Benz C-Class in its C300 AMG Line and C180 Avantgarde forms. It was a very memorable introduction to the new C-Class at the time and, to say the least, I was impressed with the two cars. The W205 C-Class first appeared in 2015 and you could say that things have moved on since then. With this review of the 2018 W205 Mercedes-Benz C350 e Plug in Hybrid, AND, another article on the 2018 C200 which will be written after this one gets published, I shall let you folks out there know what I think of this year’s crop of C-Class.

Mercedes-Benz Launches The EQ Brand For Their Hybrid Electric Cars - The C350e & E350e Now Designated EQ Power Models

 

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has officially launched the EQ brand here in Malaysia. With this new brand into the Mercedes-Benz portfolio,  the plug-in hybrid models of E 350 e and C 350 e now being designated as EQ Power models. The EQ Power brand will eventually pave the way for EQ, a title reserved solely for a range of pure electric vehicles in the future. These future range of cars will be based on the Generation EQ concept car introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 2016.
