Buses: Perdana Express Buys 31 New Scania K410 Buses & Enters into New Maintenance Contracts For Their Scania Buses


The folks who use Perdana Express buses will be riding in some brand new Scania express buses after this. Perdana Express has received 31 new Scania buses to bolster its services between the East Coast to the Central Region of Peninsular Malaysia. The bus company and Scania Malaysia held a handover ceremony as well as a service and maintenance agreement signing at the  Terminal Bersepadu Selatan, Bandar Tasik Selatan in Kuala Lumpur.

Scania Malaysia Invests in Our Country's Children - The Master Sustainability by Scania Fund Kicks Off at Sekolah Kebangsaan Perdana Jaya SS19



Scania Malaysia had recently established their “Master Sustainability by Scania” Fund which was set up to motivate and assist local primary schools to start up curricular and extra-curricular activities or projects that focus on sustainability. Sekolah Kebangsaan Perdana Jaya SS19, Subang Jaya was the first recipient  of the program and they had launched its urban farming and environmental awareness project some time last week. The project features a self-sustaining herb and fruit plantation that uses compost and hydroponics.

At the 2018 Scania Top Team Regional Finals - 17 Teams From Asia, Oceania & the Middle East Contest Against One Another For Spots in the World Finals in Sweden


Last saturday was the first of two sessions where 17 of its best service teams from Asia, Oceania and the Middle East pit their technical skills against each other in the 2018 Scania Top Team Regional Finals. This event, which is a competition for Scania Service Technicians was held at the Scania Malaysia headquarters in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. The regional finals features the best service technicians from Australia, Dubai, Iran, Myanmar, Taiwan, Thailand, India, Singapore, New Zealand, Abu Dhabi, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea and Malaysia.

Truck News: Scania Malaysia Delivers 12 Trucks to Circular Agency Sdn Bhd


Recently, we have been hearing a lot from the folks at Scania Malaysia and their trucks as well as buses. This time, the commercial vehicle manufacturer has delivered 12 new Scania trucks to Circular Agency Sdn Bhd.  Circular Agency purchased 11 units of Scania G410LA6x2MNA trucks and 1 unit of Scania G360LA4x2MNA truck.

MICHELIN at the Scania Driver Competitions South East Asia 2016-2017


The Scania Driver Competitions South East Asia 2016-2017 concluded recently and we've still got some stuff to mentioned about it. This time, we focus a little on Michelin Malaysia, who had returned as the Official Tyre Sponsor of the event. The competition finals, held over at MAEPS in Serdang, had 17 truck and bus drivers from all over South East Asia competing to see who is the best among them. The Scania Driver Competitions is held bi-annually to create a greater awareness of road safety, increase driver confidence, professionalism, knowledge and skills, and improve the public perception of heavy vehicle drivers and industry

Truck & Bus: The Inaugural Scania Driver Competitions South East Asia 2016-2017 - Top Scania Drivers From Around The Region Compete Against One Another

The final round of the inaugural Scania Driver Competitions South East Asia 2016-2017 (SDC) was held recently at MAEPS, in Serdang and saw some stiff competition between 19 Scania truck and bus drivers from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Singapore. This is the first SDC that is truly regional as prior to this, it was only a Malaysia and Singapore affair. This makes things pretty interesting with added competitors and a chance to be crowned regional champion!

Truck News: Viva Haulage Sdn Bhd gets its first new Scania Truck from Scania Malaysia for its expansion plans

 Handing over the keys to the truck to Mr Tee Wah Meng, Director of Viva Haulage Sdn Bhd, was Tuan Haji Idros Puteh, Sales Director, Scania Southeast Asia. 

Viva Haulage Sdn Bhd (Viva) has taken delivery of its first brand new Scania truck. The company which specializes in the container haulage business for major forwarding agents and freight forwarders in Port Klang had chosen the Scania P410LA 6x2 MSZ truck. This truck comes with a host of added benefits to ensure maximum support for its customers.
