New BMW iX3 Final Edition launched in Malaysia - The ultimate send off for the current generation iX3 EV Sports Utility Vehicle

 BMW Malaysia has launched the New BMW iX3 Final Edition, which is the run off special edition for this generation's fully electric iX3 Sposts Activity Vehicle (SAV), which we know as SUV everywhere else in the car world. The special edition now comes with additional M Performance equipment in addition to the M Sport package making this premium all-electric SAV making this final version come with a whole lot of nice stuff for the money. Or RM299,800 onwards to be exact.

The New BMW iX3 Final Edition is built upon what BMW calls its ‘Impressive’ trim and  bumps it up to eleven by having the new M Performance equipment as standard, This features the M Performance Carbon Mirror Caps, M Performance Carbon Fibre Door Sill, M Performance Rear Spoiler, as well as the Adaptive M Suspension lifetime upgrade.

Made from real carbon fibre, unlike some aftermarket parts which only look the part, the M Performance Carbon Mirror Caps underlines the SAV’s high-tech pedigree and adds an individual athletic touch to the dynamic design. The M Performance Carbon Fibre door sill trim is also now finished with a carbon insert and enhances the sporty appearance with the striking, coloured M Performance logo. The high-gloss black design of the M Performance rear spoiler gives the SAV an aggressive appearance that is set to turns heads on the road. Additionally, the newly equipped Adaptive M Suspension with lifetime upgrade, allows the driver to select between the standard comfortable setting or switch to Sport Mode for sportier handling.

The New BMW iX3 Final Edition will continue to have a host of standard equipment which notable items such as the panoramic glass roof, automatic air conditioning with three-zone control, electric sport seats for driver and front passenger, 20-inch M aerodynamic wheels 890 M Bicolour, Driving Assistant Professional, Parking Assistant Plus, BMW Laserlight, Harman Kardon surround sound system, BMW Head-Up Display and Acoustic glazing.

A product of the fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology, the rear driven wheels of the New BMW iX3 Final Edition are still powered by the highly efficient electric motor that makes up to 286 hp (210 kW) and a peak torque of 400 Nm. 0-100kmh can be done in around 6.8 seconds. The lightweight high-voltage battery also offers a gross capacity of 80 kWh that enables a manufacturer given range of up to 461km (WLTP) in one full charge, while recording energy consumptions of as low as 18.5 kWh per 100 km of travel.

The New BMW iX3 Final Edition is available in six exterior colours, namely M Carbon Black Metallic, Cashmere Silver, Sophisto Grey, Mineral White, Phytonic Blue and Piemont Red. Interior upholstery is available in either Leather Vernasca Mocha with Décor Stitching or Leather Vernasca Black with Blue Contrast Stitching.
