PROTON has officially launched the All-New PROTON X50 SUV, The compact SUV has been Malaysia’s best-selling B-segment SUV since it first hit Malaysian roads in 2020. Today, we got to sit in the same room with national cycling icon, Dato Azizulhasni Awang. A real down to earth champion from the looks of it. Sunway launches its new Zeekr Space Sunway City and Zeekr Sunway Service Centre

Sunway Marketing, a dealer partner appointed by Zeekr Malaysia, has officially launched Zeekr Sunway today in the heart of Sunway City in Subang Jaya, Selangor. This comprises of the Zeekr Space showroom in Sunway City and the Zeekr Sunway Service Centre located close by (Zeekr Space is the official definition for both spaces). This happened last weekend, where the company held somewhat of an unveiling ceremony at Setia City Mall. Themed “All-New PROTON X50: READY TO ROAR”.

Hyundai Motor Malaysia is officially in Malaysia as principal and announced the launch of the latest STARIA variants, the New TUCSON, and the All-New SANTA FE

Yesterday, Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY), the newly formed Malaysian company under Hyundai Motor Company (HMC), marked its official launch at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur. The new company also introduced three key models: the Hyundai STARIA, the New Hyundai TUCSON, and the All-new Hyundai SANTA FE. The all new Santa Fe features the latest Hyundai styling cues, and features the new boxy lines rather than the curvaceous styling of the previous generation one and is my highlight of the launch. 

This launch signals the beginning of a new chapter for Hyundai in Malaysia, as previously, the brand was sold through a dealer network, via Hyundai Sime Darby Motors. Now, as dealer principal status, we may see the brand come into Malaysia with more of an impact and one that should be more in line with what the third largest vehicle manufacturer in the world is. They are starting with a product lineup shaped by local demand for family-ready MPVs, versatile SUVs, and feature-rich vehicles designed for modern Malaysian lifestyles. Still in the mid-range, but with more features and as you will read, decent prices and warranty packages.

The almost (according to us) all-new 2025 Proton X50 SUV makes its debut to the Malaysian media - It looks good on the outside and you can now speak to it in Bahasa Melayu too - UPDATED WITH VIDEO

The folks at PROTON has allowed us to announced that they had shown us the All-New 2025 PROTON X50 and even allowed us to show some official renders of the new compact SUV that will soon be launched. This media preview was held a few weeks ago is the first marketing build up  as the Malaysian car brand prepares for its launch which is the first major model launch of 2025. With over 134,000 units sold since its debut in October 2020 the X50 compact SUV has been the number one model in its class for five consecutive years. It has been updated with-new styling both inside and out, upgraded ADAS level 2 features, an improved infotainment system with a larger 14.6-inch screen, and for the first time ever, Bahasa Melayu voice recognition. The car looks good doesn't it, with its new toothy grin and new interior.

The new 2025 onwards X50 will be available in three variants - the X50 Executive, Premium, and Flagship. PROTON will run a series of activation events in the weeks leading up to the grand launch of the All-New PROTON X50 to fan the flames of those who want to buy a car in the very, very near future. UD Trucks and TCIE Unveil New Kuzer SKE Light-Duty Truck Loaded with Key Improvements for Customers in Malaysia

Last Thursday, the 26th of June UD Trucks and sole distributor partner in Malaysia, Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd (TCIE), launched the New Kuzer SKE 155. The new light-duty truck has been developed specifically for businesses in the region, with the aim to deliver greater uptime and efficiency compared to the previous version.The new Kuzer, developed specifically for businesses in the region, and interestingly, is based on an Isuzu light duty truck chassis. The truck is the outcome of Isuzu taking over UD Trucks recently.

The newly established Hyundai Motor Malaysia holds a preview of the upcoming models - all-New Hyundai Santa Fe, facelifted Hyundai Tucson SUV and the new Hyundai Staria Prestige 7 Seater MPV

Hyundai Motor Company recently announced the establishment of Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY), a newly formed local entity following the brand’s direct entry into the market. This move represents Hyundai’s evolution from a distributor-led model under Sime Darby Motors to a principal-led operational approach, which the brand hopes will be rooted in deeper market commitment, enhanced customer engagement, and a renewed focus on innovation and long-term growth.

BMW Malaysia unveils the New BMW M5, alongside the New BMW M3 Competition M xDrive, the New BMW M4 Competition Coupé M xDrive and the New BMW M2.

BMW Malaysia today unveiled the New BMW M5, marking a new chapter for the iconic performance sedan with the debut of electrified M power. Yes, the M5 is a hybrid electric/petrol powered supersports sedan. The launch was held at the MY BMW World 2025 held at Sentul Depot from 13-15 June, where the New BMW M3 Competition M xDrive was also unveiled, bringing bold design and everyday versatility to a high-performance four-door saloon. The M5 will come in at an estimated RM1.2mil. 

Completing the lineup from BMW M is the New BMW M2, delivering pure driving exhilaration in a compact, track-inspired form.
