Volvo Iron Women Programme first round of graduates celebrated - Women drivers and those interested are encouraged to apply



Volvo Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Volvo Trucks), has introduced its Volvo Iron Women initiative to Malaysia. With the support of the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry as strategic partner, Volvo Trucks recently celebrated the inaugural graduation of five women as fully certified heavy-duty truck drivers. The women will be employed by Taipanco Sdn Bhd who are also interested in expanding its pool of drivers.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (AMA) Program Celebrates The Graduation of 38 Apprentices And Welcomes Another Batch of New Apprentices



On the 27th September 2023, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia had announced the graduation of 38 apprentices from its Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (AMA) Program. Aside from this news where there are now 38 more certified technicians in Malaysia, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia had welcomed 42 apprentices for the year 2023. This is part of the brand's continuous development of human capital here in Malaysia.

Over the past three years, the graduating batch of 38 apprentices had undergone rigorous training, culminating in their certification as globally-recognised Mercedes-Benz technicians. These newly graduated professionals are set to join the Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Retail Network, which currently has over 1,000 Service Personnel. In addition, they will be offered job opportunities within the company;s Service Network for the subsequent four years. The investment per student over the three-year program is RM100,000.

Scania and IKTBNDT has produced its first batch of 10 apprentices that had successfully passed the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia Tahap 2 (SKM Level 2)


Scania, the First Heavy Commercial Vehicle Manufacturer in Malaysia to be accredited as the National Dual Training System/Sistem Latihan Dual Nasional (NDTS/SLDN) Centre by Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia has produced its first batch of 10 apprentices that had successfully passed the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia Tahap 2 (SKM Level 2) from Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara, Dusun Tua - IKTBNDT .

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Enters Into a MOU with Montfort Boys Town to Strengthen its Advanced Modern Apprenticeship Programme


Mercedes-Benz Malaysia earlier today entered into a two year long Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Montfort Boys Town to cultivate and develop local young talent for its Advanced Modern Apprenticeship programme. Here, students from Montfort Boys Town who successfully pass the annual pre-enrolment assessment will receive a full scholarship and have a passport to the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Modern Apprenticeship Programme.
