Toyota to Resume Production in its Bukit Raja Plant


Toyota will be starting up its production back again after its closure due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) which was put in place by the Malaysian government to slow the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.  Assembly Services Sdn Bhd (ASSB), UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd’s subsidiary involved in manufacturing Toyota vehicles, has resumed its assembly operations at its plant in Bukit Raja, Selangor.

The New 4S Equipped Audi Centre Setia Alam Officially Opens


After being in operation for the past couple of months, the Audi Centre Setia Alam has been officially opened. The new Audi Centre in Setia Alam, Selangor is one which will cater for Audi customers located in the central region of Peninsula Malaysian. It has been designed as a 4S ( Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Body and Paint shop) centre and it is therefore a one-stop shop for all things Audi.

UMW Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation Celebrates 50 Years of Local Production in Malaysia


UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT) is a successful Malaysian incorporated joint-venture company between UMW Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC). Today, the company and their stakeholders celebrated 50 years of local production in Malaysia with a special ceremony held at the company's newest manufacturing facility in Bukit Raja, Klang, Selangor. The historic event was graced by His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah AlHaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj, The Sultan of Selangor and Her Royal Highness Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor.

Perodua Contributes Three Units of the Perodua Bezza Sedan to the Selangor Police


Recently, compact car manufacturer Perodua, contributed three units of their popular compact sedan, the Perodua Bezza to the Selangor Police Contingent (IPK Selangor) for use as patrol cars. The three Bezza sedans have been outfitted with police equipment including radios and beacon lamps, and each of them has been assigned to the Selangor Contingent Headquarters (IPK Selangor), the Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK Bukit Aman) and the Hulu Selangor District Police (IPD Hulu Selangor) respectively. This is one way Perodua has decided to give back to the state it has been manufacturing its cars in.
