At MCVE 2022 - Volvo Trucks Malaysia Launches Volvo Connect, a Comprehensive Single Interface System for Volvo Digital Services and Functions


Volvo Trucks Malaysia launched Volvo Connect, a new customer portal that offers a single interface for digital services and functions with a single point of access. This integrates and consolidates connectivity of all truck operations on a single system. The official launch of Volvo Connect was at the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MVCE) 2022 (ongoing till tomorrow, 12th March) and was graced and launched by YB Dato Henry Sum Agong, Deputy Minister of Transport during his visit to the Volvo Trucks booth at the exhibition.

ZF Sales and Service Malaysia - 15 good years of fantastic transmissions, aftermarket products and now, new innovative OpenMatics Fleet Management System and Cargo Tagging


ZF Sales and Service (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (ZFSSM) is the Malaysian arm of of one of the largest supplier of automotive parts in the world - the ZF Group. They supply a wide range of parts to brand new cars as well as for the after market. In fact, most of you would know ZF as the maker of pretty good automotive transmissions or gearboxes. But they also do a whole lot more than just gearboxes, they actually market and sell SACHS, LEMFĂ–RDER, TRW, BOGE, and its connectivity product, OPENMATICS. too. So in line with ZFSSM's 15th anniversary, they've opened their doors to a few of us to have a look at their Malaysian operation.

Trucking news: Scania Malaysia launches the Scania Assistance Service and Scania Fleet Management System


Today I was at Scania Malaysia for the launch of the Scania Assistance Service and Scania Fleet Management System. These are ownership solutions for better profitability for Scania bus and truck operators here in Malaysia. Of course, I get to view some nice machines too. In the heavy duty sort of scale that is. I was busy taking admiring the huge Garrett turbo fitted to the Scania bus chassis to the left of the photo above folks.
